Nice result for Farleigh today, Beat Cobham in the premier cup on penalties. Farleigh led 1-0 but conceded a late equaliser, went 3-1 down in extra time but pulled it back to 3-3 . Earned a crack at the rapidly improving RVP in the next round

 

was 1-1 at full time, we pulled it back late then farleigh raced into a 3-1 lead, then we pulled 2 back again late on in extra time.

 

We were under-par, played some top football in spells (not often enough) but were beaten in the lottery by a very direct and honest side. Good luck to Farleigh in the next round.

Dorking 0 v 2 Ash Utd on a week when 2 games were cancelled due to waterlogging the Meadowbank pitch was water free,some hard work must of been put in.Ash deserved the win for their overall play,not a bad tackle all afternoon.Ash supporters friendly and a nice bunch.Ref and 1 Assistant Poor,the younger one O.K.

Eversley 8. V. 2. Westfield

Westfield struggling with injury and availability but to be fair the home side had no Scully, Mat Baker or Joe Taylor.

Matt Stampy grabbed a brace, debutant Miles Jones a hat trick. A much improved performace which gives the Boars much needed confidence when they take on Bedfont Sports next week.....Newby Marvel, will you dare show your ashamed face at Fox Lane? We all have long Memories......if you do you may need a police escort.

Newby is welcome at our ground and hopefully he will do the decent thing and offer an apology to the player concerned and we'll all move on from this unsavoury incident.

Yes it was his debut yesterday. He looked a good player from what I saw of the game.

Held back from posting yesterday in case I said something I’d regret.

 

A strange game of football. I think if it ended 15-8 neither side could have complained. On the ball we didn’t actually play that bad but defensively – well I think 8 goals says it all. Eversley took the lead about 25 min in via an own goal- we then gifted them 2 others by not clearing our lines and they added a 4^th on half time on the break as we pushed forward.

 

Second half we started brightly and prob scored the goal of the game with a great team move and missed a good few chances. Then same story of the first half as every time Eversley attacked they ripped us apart and 2 identical goals where our keeper has pulled off a great save and our midfield either incapable or just be cant be bothered to track back sit their and watch as they tap in the rebound. Eversley added 2 more before we hit another at the death. Bad day at the office as they say

Cove1 Horley 1

 

Quite a close first half with Cove hitting the bar.

2nd half I think Horley slightly edged it and probably deseved to win.

Horley 1 up on about 60 mins.

Cove equaliser on about 75 mins a free kick that bounced on the dodgy suface in front of the keeper.

Look forward to Johnnos report or Duncs.

But hope they agree the officials were poor especially the ref he was awful.!!

Camberley 0 v 1 Colliers Wood

 

Camberley dominated the first half and missed 5 or 6 good chances and Colliers scored a worldy to take the lead and to be fair held on comfortbaly in the 2nd half.

 

Only other result I know is Eversley 8 v 2 Westfield. Look forward to that being cos the ref didnt give a cast iron penalty and Eversley scoring in added time that didnt exist

 

Colliers Wood are second in the league table of whinging girls behind Egham. The worst thing about it is the ref fell for it the majority of the time. Absolutely no authority whatsoever. He'd make a good Royal Mail manager.

I can't see why anyone would want to pay good money to put up with that whinge-fest every week.

Football-wise no complaints with the score. That's our own fault. They're not a bad side but unwatchable unless you're deaf.
