A very disappointing result and our second home league defeat this week. It is far too early to write off our chances of promotion, but we will definitely struggle to make the top five if we continue to slip up and drop points like this. Why have things suddenly started to go so badly wrong after our commendable exploits in the cup competitions ?

 

Counting league and cup matches we have now lost six of our last seven matches, albeit some of those against higher league opponents. We have a very good manager and a strong squad of players, so why are we not capable, at the present time, of grinding out results against decent sides like Great Wakering Rovers, Potters Bar Town and Wingate & Finchley?

 

Today, Ware thrashed Leyton 5-0 and we have already beaten Leyton away from home this season. Will we get back on the winning trail, bang in a few goals and pick up three points, when they visit Goldsdown Road on Tuesday evening. Let's hope so, otherwise the danger lights will be flashing !!

i am surprised that qquality players like rudi, fabio and liam werent involved today (rudi was on the bench). ALso out new centre forward Leon I am not sur what he offers that Adam doesn't, her looked very uncertain and gave the ball away a lot. it was long ball stuff, we are really missing Ben hammond
