My understanding is that Sycob have a very small budget for the level they are considering Jamie Jarvis left Sycob to go to Burnham because they had a better budget (yet still small).

 

Can't see many players wanting to travel that far for a game when it sounds like many of them had gripes in the summer because of having to travel to Godalming.

I agree TC also the fact that Badshot have a great chance of winning CCL this year, are many going to swap that for a struggling side 1 level up?

 

Seems a strange move on both parts, doubt he will know many players local to Beaconsfield.

I was also at this game last night. Was trying to earwig a conversation where the words 'tapping up' cropped up but wasn't successful!

He's friendly with Martin Kuhl at Wycombe - they jointly ran Aldershot Reserves a few years back. A talented coach, but could be found out on the man-management side.

Done a bit of digging today. Simon Pullen was introduced to the players last night as the new manager at Beaconsfield. My friend who has recently joined them was quite surprised as they were supposedly starting to play well with some fresh faces, many of whom are now again moving on. The tie in with Kuhl at Wycombe could see a few Wycombe youngsters there like Badshot last year. Explains how Badshot got them now. Hopefully all Badshots players stay as was looking like a very good chase for the title between them chertsey and Guildford.
