Could this be why he's not being played?

I think that in Lee Boylan we have got a top quality player, and I can't see Wayne replacing him. I would rather sell Wayne and give Lee a new contract with the money!

Wayno was dropped when greggers got injured. They play well together.HE'S not on the bench because of him leaving. Boston is just another rumour as Merv says.

BUT if you kept being left on the bench you would consider something else if the chance came up! Andy Cole & Robbie Fowler for instance!!<p>He should be starting the games not watching them!

any of em are plenty good enough in my book, but wayne and boylan are too similar to play together, boylan has the shirt at the moment and rightly so..cobby whilst still an excellent striker, has a better all round game and can create more them wayno, hence you get that pairing when greggors is out.. greggors and any of them look good

Probably a mis-quote. Wayne is going to Boston at the end of the season - for 2 weeks holiday in the USA.
