Was this immediate move back to Herne Bay included (in part) of the process when releasing Marsden. Was it already a certainty before he even left here? Anyone know please? Or is it just a co-incidence? Intrigued, that's all!.

  • 2 weeks later...

I believe it was reported somewhere (though not on the official site) that Waugh's loan was for a month.

Will Waugh maybe even get a start in the game v Croydon on wednesday ?

( we could do alot worse than play him !! From the little i have seen and read-he seems to offer more than white.Hopefully white will ram those words down my throat with a vengeance tomorrow and get a hat trick )

Curtis can play up front, as can Courtney. Both have played that position for the reserves, later in games (Courtney against East grinstead, Chatham, Holmesdale and Herne Bay) when chasing a result. Why mess up a defence that work's. 2-0 down OK, nothing to lose. Could say more but will keep it to myself.

jay can also play up front cloak tried very hard but looked like a fish out of water

Afraid I don't agree steve. Thought Cloke did very well up front: holds the ball up, doesn't try anything fancy, just lays it off out wide and gets in the box, and I believe he won the free-kick for Wilson's equaliser. As a stop-gap until Welford returns, I think he can do a decent job for us.
