Danny Charge

Recommended Posts

Not been at his best in the Blue Shirt of late. Subbed a couple of times: I'd presumed he had an injury or other fitness issue. Presumably there were other things on his mind.

I wish Danny all the best but to be honest, he didn't play his best after he came back from Stevenage. His refusal to sign must've been influenced to some degree by his "agent" (an agent at this level is ridiculus - "shades" of Billy Bricknell)...

He always appeared to be on his heels up front and an example of what that means is drawn by the comparison of what Bertie did when he scored our first goal against Cray...would Danny have been there to score it? I don't think so...

Danny is a nice lad but from what I saw, he has a lot more to learn and I think he could do with staying at a club for a period of time...

Best of luck Danny.

I think that Danny has been a decent player for Billericay, always worked hard, scored some important goals and had a good rapport with the fans. I honestly hope that I am wrong

but I can't see Danny climbing too far up the football ladder, I would have thought that we were about his level.

Good luck to him anyway.

Agent?????????

I see that Boreham Wood have released Leon McKenzie after he was sent off twice in his short spell with them.

Let's hope Chargey does better. I thought he did well for Billericay but I fear he may become another who finds the grass isn't always greener - But good luck to the lad anyway.

For someone who is young to have had many clubs already is not a good sign . You need to stay at a club and to make an impact for a couple of seasons as otherwise (unless you are a proven player) folk eventually will not want to take you on .

So yes , i also believe grass and greener saying is true .

Nevertheless , this is just an opinion and one that Danny no doubt thinks he will be able to handle . Best of luck to him . Out of interest i wonder how many ex Town players have gone to Boreham Wood only to leave after a season .
