Why are Attendances down generally in Non-League football

Fed up with work so I'll answer this instead.

 

Too many distractions - We live in the PS3/XBox360/Wii/Sky/Cable/Internet generation.

Premiership games clash with nonleague matches (:

Gates have been good in the Blue Square Prem just look at Luton and Wombles. Also lower down FC Halifax and Boston. I know we may have lost a few this season but overall I think no worse than last season.

They haven't dropped that much overall, maybe in Ryman North with likes of Waltham Forest and Ilford

struggling to get more than 50, but as Tea Boy said earlier lots of distractions in this day and age...plus

i think we would get a few more if west ham werent shown live at 3pm on a saturday in the pubs and clubs of upminster & hornchurch.

I have plenty of mates who watch these games that used to come to the bridge to get a footy fix at 3pm.

Something needs to be done regarding the pubs/clubs

no chance,they are all finding ways round it,the premier league will end up killing non league football,it already has killed many clubs

As you know I have an affinity with a Premiership club, but Romford is MY team.

But that is not chic enough for the new football kids on the block as any team

under the top flight appears ripe for derision.

Yet they don't get is that most clubs who chase said Holy Grail, end up in deep

financial poo.
