Back to league action tomorrow away to Aveley, got to say I have missed it big time. Looking forward to an atmosphere again after watching paint dry last weekend, come on YOU MIGHTY YELLOW ARMY, 3 - 1 Canvey with Konk getting 2 and Hallet the other.

A solid 3 1 win will do nicely.

 

First 20 mins we should have been 4 nil up, Aveley could not deal with our slick passing and movement. After that we were in control for most of the game without really having to work to hard. Pitch was pretty awful which made it difficult to knock the ball about on the deck.

 

Goals from Heale, Easterford & King. Attendance 209, of which a large number was our fans

 

Special mention to John Easterford who was superb in his first league game for the club, topping his performance off with a excellent headed goal.

 

Roll on Tuesday against Wealdstone

Easterford was excellent, definitely our man of the match.

 

We made the match much more difficult for ourselves by not taking our chances and taking our foot off of the gas, which almost ended up costing us. We need to be more ruthless, and after being 2-0 up after 10 minutes should have gone for the throat and scored 5 or 6.

 

Still, a win's a win, and well done who ever honked the konk!
