Have you seen Frimley Green this season Wolfman ?- vast improvement in the pitch over previous years and I doubt it would be in the bottom 3 any more

In defence of Meadowbank, the last 2 midweek games have gone ahead following significant rain. Pretty sure that last season this would not have been the case.

Here I am blowing the Egham trumpet again, but our pitch is now certainly one of the best in the League. It used to be rubbish, especially in the winter, but Pat Bennett and his sons have put in a great deal of money and hard work into creating a more than decent surface. As a polar opposite, Dorking... what ours used to look like. Seriously, yesterday we had to lump the ball, which is not our style, because if the ball got caught in one of the ruts it would just go sideways. Still, that said, we have come away from there with 8 goals, none conceded and 6 points.
