Margate release Kamara

Ummm, mixed feelings about this one but good luck to him.Was a big fan of his & I'm sure with some good coaching he will improve his game further. I dont think this will be the last we hear of him.

I can fully understand Ian' s decision though, however we certainly do need a replacement for him up front so lets hope something does come about.

Real shame i liked him.

i wish him well.

after watching Leeds the other night against Cardiff he might be worth the gamble especially if he can get fit!!!!

The right move by Iain I feel, as although Ishmail has obvious ability he was never going to play enough for us. He seems to want to wrap himself up in cotton wool every time he gets a slight knock in a game. Understandable given the recent speculation I guess, and his agent might have something to do with it.

If Shaun is going to be missing for a few weeks I feel that we need to try and bring in a target man. Someone in the mould of Haworth to hold the ball up and allow us to play direct and make it stick in the final third. Goals would be a bonus - it only has to be a stop-gap until Welford returns.

Not sure a midfielder is essential as the three in there are settled and playing well. If it comes to it and we can't get a striker in due to budget how about Jay up front...

Good decision. Not the same player since all the speculation re: Leeds came out. In all honesty, can't really remember him doing a lot since pre-season. Glimpses against Binfield and Horsham, but not much else. More proof that agents at this level do more harm than good (see Mark Green anyone?). Going on past experience, Iain only releases a player when he has another one in mind. No reason to doubt him this time.

I would hope that any funds released enable IOC to get a new quality midfield player;which i believe is vastly more critical than a striker.

Get quality and steel in midfield-control the game-and the goals will come

I don't know for sure but i suspect this won't release funds. Injured players such as Welford still get paid i assume, also so do loan players like Andy from Gillingham, so may not be quite in the money as supposed. Mind you don't know what Ish was on!!!
