Started well, Nice run and cross from Chennells to set up Barnett for the first goal. Then with 5 minutes to go a fluffed clearence from Larkin struck Chris Owens and fell to their winger to tap home. Literally from the re-strat they got a second from a low goalmouth cross.

Second half was much better as Pearce replaced Clayton with Manuella moving to centre half. Windsor caused more problems and Sunasky scored from the edge of the box before Barnett got a second. Decent performance and good win against a form side.

Literally from the restart? Did you fall asleep for a moment Matt? :smilewinkgrin: There were 3 minutes between their goals...

 

Sunasky's goal was a massive deflection and perhaps should have gone down as an own goal - I'll post the video clip up later - difficult to tell really but I felt at the time his shot may well have been going just wide. Adam Bernard's 2nd was an excellent header across the goal (again, video to come). The 'keeper said a couple of times what a great header it was; he seemed to want confirmation it wasn't his fault for being slow to scramble across his goal!!

(Excuse my throaty roar - it seems to be present on every clip I post up! I'm going to have to work on a new celebration...)

 

I know there's not a lot of interest in the Red Insure Cup and a number of the ever-faithful decided not to go last night but it was a decent game of football. I've been impressed by Chesham's football in both games this season. Mind you, Dave Mudge didn't seem too impressed with one of their ranks for not shaking hands as they got back to the dressing room...

Shame more people didnt turn up last night, i thought it was one of the most entertaining games of the season and fair play to both sides for fielding strong sides! 5 goals and plenty more goal mouth action both sides could have added to the scoreline what more could youask!?
