Monkeymonkey8 - You couldn't be more wrong if you tried, I wouldn't say I'm Hatfield Town's biggest fan but I haven't got anything against them as a Club, I just feel they have been allowed to rise a bit too quickly that's all as it only seems like yesterday they were plying their trade in the Herts Senior County League

I think the word for it is success ifi'm not mistaken. However i see they lost at home tonight.

allowed to rise?? what a pathetic thing to say, you just make yourself sound more stupid everyday. We won the Herts County 4 years ago, came 3rd in div 1 which was a wonderful achievement, took up the chance of promotion however you may see it, consolidated in the Prem last season and are doing fairly well this season, not paying a penny to any player on the way. You really know f##k all about us. We know what we are and what we are not Rhodes.

As for this week it's been an awful week, far to many players out suspended and injured, out of 2 cups and a lovely trip to Haringey on Saturday! Cant wait!

Oh and well done to the old boy at the back for St Mags last night, thought you had a stormer!

Rhodes - i dont think your fooling anyone with this post, every chance you get you dig them out, ive had the forture of visiting them twice this season and they are a good bunch of lads with a top manager.

I think you should strap a pair on and pay them a visit........you might just like what you find.........as someone once said to me "if you dont know about a subject dont comment"..........Rhodes take note!

SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE

RESULTS

OCTOBER 2010

TUESDAY 26th

DUDLEY LATHAM MEMORIAL CUP

(PREMIER DIVISION CUP)

Sponsored by S & T Sales & Marketing

SECOND ROUND

Langford 5-2 Kentish Town

Mark Holmes 17 (39) Glen Garner 22, 33

Shane Brown 35, 80

Kane Dougherty 60

Sam Banham 87

Good result for Langford, apologies, can't find another appropriate thread since the last dedicated one was closed due to Rhodes pathetic mewlings but how did Tony "The Strangler" Armitage get on at his interview for the top job this week? Should it be congratulations or commiserations for the caretaker manager who must have proved his case with a win like this?

Just ignore him, however difficult it is! You've got a good setup over there and a good manager in Prutts (well I think so anyway, played a couple of seasons for him a while back). You were missing a few players last night and gifted us a couple of goals but I thought we looked pretty dangerous going forward.

Wouldn't say I had a stormer but my usual steady self, don't like left back mind you... back to the other side tomorrow hopefully!
