St Albans City 1 Hayes 1

Recommended Posts

A pretty good performance against unbeaten Hayes. We looked much more like a team than in previous games and mistakes were kept to a minimum. If it wasn't for the lack of a cutting edge up front (and some abject refereeing) we could have got the vital second goal. Not too sure why Martin came on instead of Tomlinson, he (Tommo) might at least have given us something a bit different.

Puzzling to say the least, RTS. If there was no intention to play him, he could been getting some match practice with the reserves yesterday.

The left back position is also still a huge problem. On recent showing, Murray is the best of the four that have played to date but whether he is suitable in the long term is another matter.

I was fairly impressed with most of the performance yesterday. A great improvement on last week, although I didnt actually see Monday. We seemed to gel so much more. I just get the feeling that our concentration lacks into the latter parts of the game and this really needs to be worked on.

I reallt didnt think we would let Hayes do that to us again! Roll on Tuesday!
