Add Kentish Town vs Hanwell Town to the list. Waterlogged pitch.

That's poor isn't it, it looks like we're back to how it was at the Copthall Stadium during the laughable 2008/2009 season

A report on this one from yesterday from another's Forum

London Lions (1) 3 v Wodson Park (0) 2

Spartan South Midlands League, Division One

Admission £4 including prog (8 pages)

Attendance 20-30est

My chosen match this weekend was the Spartan South Midlands League Division One fixture between London Lions and Wodson Park. The match took place at Broxbourne Borough FC where last seasons Herts Senior County League champions, the Lions are ground sharing this season. It was the fourth different ground that I seen the London Lions play a "home" game. Both teams are new to this level of the pyramid and gave the spectators present an entertaining afternoon. The home side took a 1-0 interval lead and doubled their advantage on 52 minutes. Wodson seemed to lose their way a little after that and a larger score line looked on the cards. Anthony Anstead, however had different ideas and it was his double strikes on 66 & 79 minutes that made it all square. He was then guilty of missing a glorious chance for Wodson to take the lead and this miss was punished on 86 minutes when Lions claimed all three points with a close range effort.

A report on this one from another's Forum:

Buckingham Athletic 3 - 1 Amersham Town

SSML Div 1

Admission+prog: £3.50

Forewarned by a previous report from this ground, I headed straight into the housing estate opposite to park - the correct decision as a) the ground's car park was full, and B) it's pay & display.

A street fair was on in the town centre up the road, and the game was played to a background beat of music from the fair.

My first visit to the ground. With showers threatening it seemed sensible to head for the only cover, which has 3 rows of bench seating. The ground is enclosed only by a wire mesh fence, allowing viewing from outside.

The first half was pretty even, with the goalies both equal to the few chances made. HT 0-0. After half time the heavens opened for a hefty shower that had the rest of the crowd scuttling for the cover.

The home team started the second half better and took a 2-0 lead. Amersham pulled one back but Buckingham sealed the game with about 10 mins to go.

Rhodes were you going to Pitstone or Bucks no so wot is the point of making a big deal about them being on mitoo?

DJM61 - Well how do you know that I wasn't planning on attending the game on Saturday as I'm a free agent this season, that's what I was referring to by schoolboy errors on Football Mitoo
