I was under the impression that the recent forum discussions with the self-titled ‘number one club in havering (who play in thurrock)’ regarding an improbable groundshare were exactly that – discussions only. Why then was it that before the match and indeed when the match kicked off, that romford’s first team were training on the track? have they no home to go to?

 

 

 

I do not think that the 1 pound 50/50 ticket and pint that mr fenn purchased from our warm and friendly clubhouse counts as adequate compensation for the use of the facilities. Even if rob was enjoying his company so much and whilst they were flirting outrageously, gazing longingly into one another’s eyes with a yearning made only more intense by the ‘forbidden fruit’ aspect of such an illicit affair. The flames of passion were such that, had rob spent a little less time on those sexagenarian shenanigans and perhaps a little more time on concentrating on the darts match, then perhaps we may have retained our trophy and perhaps he would today still be the darts captain. each to their own rob, but I do wish you’d occasionally pick on someone your own age (we’re not the same age btw).

 

 

 

On a separate note, why was it that the ref saw fit to start the match last night whilst there were Romford players running up and down the track in their shorts, yet sent off westy et al after westy dropped his trousers and started waving his arms around behind the goal before the penalty shoot-out? Double standards if you ask me. Still, they did miss the first penalty, so wd westy imo.
