I was speaking with Iain this morning and he has expressed some frustration about some posts on the forum about him and some players. He appreciates that it is an unofficial forum and all that entails but has asked me to pass on his offer for anyone who has any concerns or questions, to pose them to him in the bar after home games. He always spends some time in the bar, is always approachable and where he can, will respond to questions openly and honestly.

I'm sure if (for example) wellsie asked iain what he would appreciate us not talking about i.e player contracts, then I'm sure everyone would respect his wishes and not talk about it!

I thought the whole point of a forum was so that views and opinions could be discussed openly.

 

Not on an individual basis.

 

Being critical of Officials, Players and Managers are part of normal everyday football fans life.

 

Also it is natural that fans are keen to discuss whether players may be leaving/ on contract etc. is it not !

 

Even Chairman are guilty of that ?

Maybe non league is slightly different than League Football Steve, at this level you can always chat to the players, managers, directors in bar after the game. Iain is a great bloke to chat to as well, very down to earth as are all the players.

Got to respect the views of Ian of course, but, cant see any current topic where there is criticism of any of our players, in fact there is more about Wayne Rooney and what appears total support for Jay and Ian, so not sure what he refers to, this is an unnoficial forum where supporters of our team any others voice opinions for a response, sometines the response is not what was expected, but I am sure the vast majority on here support our manager and current players, we all have our own views and are all "armchair managers" of course but certainly for me I think we have an exellent manager, much improved squad, superb off field set up, great commercial achievments and hopefully a bright future at last. In addition there are moderators who I suppose exist to remove offensive material.
