Krooner, I am the coach you are refering too in your post.

I've just about calmed down now!!

Apart from a few choice words at the referee, which i'll regret in the morning, i was venting my anger at the fact the referee didnt take into account that our 5 Cox had an inch cut above his eye, and that is why he immediate went after the ref after the incident. The ref after the game admitted that he'd made a mistake and got the Red out too quickly, but said he'd still be putting the sending off through as he used foul and abusive language, which has been backed up by the assessor, who wait for it, thought the ref had a good game!!

When sent to the stands, or a yard behind the dugout as we do in this league, i did try and coach the right way, but I take the criticism on the chin Kroons, fair point.

However a great win for us, against a good side, who were better than us first half. When down to 10 men and then 9 men with 5 to go, we put our bodies on the line and showed great spirit.

I would like to point out, that my celebration at the end was no way aimed at any Sandhurst players or Staff, as i think they thought. Simply the joy of winning in adversity and wanting to celebrate with my team.

I always say you have to enjoy the good wins, as i feel like killing myself when we lose.

As CB said it was a second yellow for the second dismissal. Debatable penalty. I didn't see it as I was punching the ball away and it was behind me but our Assistant Manager said it was a pen from where he was standing. The ref made some odd calls, notibly to caution our left winger for a late tackle which missed the ball and player, should have taken the slippery conditions into account. Unfortunately he made a rod for his own back by that decision and did not follow it through. If he was consistent, our 11 should have been dismissed for a second yellow just before half time for a similar incident, and likwise for the Chertsey 9 for sliding in on me after I picked the ball up. The only time he was consistent with the decision making was the second dismissal.

I can understand why the centre half was upset as he was caught by an arm when our striker went to jump for the ball, but if he did call the ref a c u next Tuesday then he got what he deserved.

A game of few chances. There goalkeeper only had to make one save and excluding the penalty, I only had to make two.

It was a bit unessesary the way the coach who had to leave the dugout ran onto the pitch after the game. He appears to be lucky that the officials missed that.

The way Chertsey celebrated after the game appears to suggest that they see us as a threat and I guess that is a compliment for us but really if they are throwing around the money that is being mentioned, then they should be tearing teams like us with no budget apart. We have a good team spirit at the moment and money can't buy that. If one of our players gets substituted they are dissapointed unlike being subbed and being about as bothered as David Milliband was of being on the Labour front bench.

Decent crowd with a good split of fans, just a shame we did not get a result.

PS, old guy beind my goal needs to work on his banter yes you beat us with only 9 men, but you only had 9 for 30 seconds.

TC - you back now as No 1 at Sandhurst and no longer at Bracknell?

TC, tend to agree with your summing up of the game.

However, disagree with the comment about team spirit. We have great team spirit this season and are a great unit.

Apologise again if you and your team felt my celebration was aimed or meant to get at the Sandhurst players, this was in no way my intention, i simply wanted to celebrate with my team, who had worked so hard for the win.

Best of luck for the rest of the season, and great save on to the bar in 2nd half.

JJ I was too far away from the incident on the 2nd red card to comment on the tackle. Like I say I was independant last night and didnt claim to be able to give an honest opinion on decisions that I was 90 yards away from !!!

Curfew I hope you do regret it because as the coach you should have been concentrating on your team and not screaming at the ref. A lesson learnt. I saw your CB who did have a cut above his eye but it was accidental and I tend to agree that the referee should have stopped the game but because he didnt doesnt mean he should be subject to the language aimed at him.

One other thing that also depresses me was some of the Chertsey committee. Their fans were subjecting the referee to abuse and amongst them were at least 2 of the Chertsey committee. I would be interested to know if they actually tried to stop that.

I tend to agree with DT's comments and the comment made by the Chertsey fan about winning games like that to win the league. They battled hard with 10 men which for me shows they are in it together and that will get them a long way. A word on Sandhurst too who I think improve every time I see them.

I went to Leatherhead as we faced the winners of the Southern Combination cup tie between them and Chessington which the CCL side won 2-1

Leatherhead had half their first team and half squad players ( deffo not all reserves as they made out before the game) and to be fair should have had a hatful on the night. Chessington have some decent strikers. In particular Ali John who tormented Leatherhead all evening . They took the lead after good work from John . Leatherhead equalised immediatley from a corner and missed other good chances.

Second half all Leatherhead but the C&H keeper was inspired aided by some dodgy finishing. Infact leatherhead missed 2 open goals. I sensed it wasnt to be their night and 10 minutes from time Leacock beat the offside trap and raced clear to finish. Last ten minutes was kitchen sink time but C&H held on to earn the ultimate reward - a trip to Woking Park :welcome:

Cobham 4-3 Staines

Shane Rideout with a hat trick for Cobham and Ollie Wayne with the other.

A game where both defensives seemed to struggle. We kept getting caught out by one ball through the middle. Our height didn't help either, must have been one of the smallest sides ever put out in the CCL. Both central defenders were well under six foot. Jurgs had a back problem and Rousey has a long term knee injury so Chris Nelson played in goal again. Also we had a famous ref, not sure what he was doing reffing in the CCL,forgotten his name, but he's the Ref who wears a turban and i've definatly seen him as a 4th official in the prem and reffing in the championship. Also reffed at Woking a lot a few years back and did the Neil Smith testomonial game.

We took the lead, didn't see build up as was busy doing other things, just saw a low driven shot from Rideout that beat the keeper. One Nil Cobham. Doubled the lead with a nice little move that ended with a decent finish from Ollie Wayne, Two Nil and cruising. Then the Lammas number 10 who had already taken a boot the ribs and a ball in the jacobs went down with what looks like a broken nose and soon after Lammas had a pen which was a stone waller. Well finished. Towards the end of the half Lammas were well on top and half time couldn't have come sooner for us.Lammas scored so early in the second half I missed it but I saw third goal and our defence were caught out and striker finished well. In five minutes Lammas had turned the game around and had all the momentum but the way both defences were playing it would stay 3-2.

Step forward Shane Rideout. Freekick, 25yards out (at least) Bends it straight in the top corner. Fantastic. Then 10 minutes later he picks up the ball in a wide area, cuts inside and from about 20yards out bends the ball over the keeper and in off the bar. 4-3. Great game. Really good result from a Cobham point of you. You can see why the ref has reffed a lot higher because he was outstanding all night, controlled the game fantastically and decision making spot on. Having said that as the ref walked off he was met by some Staines fans moaning about his performance and blaming him for the loss. I genuinly have no idea why!!!

I agree thought the ref was very good and only got the booking for the clash of heads wrong (in my view), also thought your no 8 played well

Oh I could probably guess his words wearnt great and may have deserved the red card but when cox came round past us supporters he had a massive cut above the eye so can understand why he was frustrated this is what we are trying to cut out of the game! Maybe the ref could have seen the cut and just booked him and gave him a few words! But a very entertaining game and a draw was probably a fair result but to win titles you need to win games like this!

Managed to watch most of the Cobham vs Staines game, and what a game it was. I'm hoping my good run of exciting games continues after also watching Chobham beat Knaphill, take note Sheerwater/Knaphill on Saturday please.

Cobham were fantastic and Staines were brilliant with neither teams really deserving to walk away with nothing but in big games big players step up, Shane Rideout yet again doing the business in front of goal. Now what Knaphill would do to get someone like that hey? Not sure how many that is for him this season but I've certainly seen a few.

Shame you weren't filming TRS as our amazing 4 match unbeaten run continues . I say amazing as for 2 1/2 of those 4 games we've been really poor.Just as we were rescued by the penalty fairy against Molesey the own goal pixie came to our aid last night. The Epsom goal was an OG by the Ash 5 who had already hit his own post with a slice in the first half . Just after the own goal there was a back pass mix up which the Ash keeper managed to scurry back and hack clear just as it approached the line . I'm not sure if it was the 5 who played the back pass . I'm not sure if there's ever been a hattrick of OG's in a game but that's as close as I've seen .

General consensus is that Ash probably deserved it . A lots been made of refereeing on this thread and one common theme is that people have not reacted well to what they saw as poor decisions. Another dissent booking for us last night when people should be more concerned with improving their own performance.

Only you can comment about your sides team spirit and the comment was more general on the fact we have no budget but work hard for each other. If we all started geting a bit on bunce each week, I don't think it would would make us play any better or work any harder.

Fair enough that you ran on the pitch to celebrate the win however if I had been sent from the touchline, I would have been extremely careful not to potentially make the punishment worse.

Cheers for the comment on the save, I thought Palps had done me for a moment.

Cove 1 Hanworth Villa 1

We started much the brighter side and deservedly went 1 up on the half hour mark through Tom McGarry or and OG…… (dubious goals committee with have to decide that one). Then 5 mins before half time Villa had a free kick just outside the box which was well converted into the bottom corner, although a big mix up between the keeper and the wall didn’t help things.

In the 2nd half Hanworth came out much stronger and had a string of good chances. Could of and possibly should have won the game. At the end of it a drew was probably a fair result.

Excellant game to watch last night and gutted I'm currently injured especially after our good win on Sat at WP. Very end-to-end and IMO both defences looked shaky, so the scoreline maybe wasn't such a surprise (due to enforced changes we only had one of the GK and back 4 that started at WP, starting in the same position last night, so it wasn't ideal for us)!

Either side would have been dissappointed not to have taken at least a point from the game, but all credit to our boys for digging in and getting the result after throwing away a good lead. Some very good goals on the night and a great hat-trick from Shane.

Thought you were the No 2 Animal, but wasn't sure and after a crunching tackle from your No 3 I deffo wasn't sure ha. Look forward to the return game and hopefully I'll be fit for that one!

PS, the ref was very good IMO and agree with Teffs about the only decision I felt he got wrong.

yep decent performance. Could have gone either way, there back 4 really struggled with Baxter and rideout up top, as well as edgehill causing some trouble to our (makeshift) back 4. It was pure brilliance that seperated us in the end. I must echo the thoughts of our coaching staff, who feel that man of the match for Cobham was..... The Lammas goal keeper!
