Not many people work in thanet, towns like Margate and Ramsgate these are depressed hit areas, or in my case, (been out of work 2 years) ageism is rife, .. you simply never get a response to any posts you apply for,..Alan (bluegate) has been lucky it seems, but with half a million about to join the dole queue soon, (thanks to these spending cuts).. i wonder how many are worrying they will be in work in the next 12 months,..

 

 

This is true...I was quite lucky, I moved back to Thanet about 8 weeks ago after being away for a few years with university and other work commitments..had one interview, got the job, but like I said, I was lucky
