Cycling again...............to Soham

I've tried to post a copy of Saturday's programme article about the ride to Atherstone but I think it's too big! Maybe we could get it on the website?

Anyway, in less than two weeks we're off again for the second longest trip (to Soham) which is only half a dozen miles shorter than Atherstone at 91 miles. In some ways this will be harder as we'll be setting off at a similar time (4:30am) and it's going to be freezing! The route will initially take us on a very similar journey to the Hitchin ride until we get past St Albans then we'll veer off towards Stevenage continuing in a north-easterly direction towards Cambridge and out the other side to Soham. Slough must be in a valley I think because the first 20-30 miles of every ride we do is uphill!!

Three of us will be riding again - me, Claire and Andy. If you see us at the Soham game, please in particular wish Andy and Claire well done as they aren't even Rebels fans but are doing it for a good cause. Andy is a Leeds fan (booooo) and Claire doesn't have allegiance to anyone so I've bought her a Rebels beenie hat!! Anyway, please let them know we appreciate their efforts.

If the good people at Soham allow us we'll be doing a walk round at half time to collect a few quid so please give generously.

Edited because I got confused between North-East and North-West. Doesn't bode well!!!!
