Kenneth Noye

Recommended Posts

Kenneth Noye, supposedly one of Britain's most notorious gangsters and tarred with the same brush as the infamous Krays, Ronnie Knight and Ronnie Biggs, is likely to walk free from prison after his case was referred to the Court of Appeal. Noye's legal team was told by the open and fair minded Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) that there is a good chance his conviction will be quashed after they questionned the evidence given by now disgraced pathologist Dr Michael Heath, at Noye's murder trial 10 years ago. As everyone will recall as if it were yesterday, 63 year old Noye was jailed for life at the Old Bailey in 2000 for killing 21 year old Stephen Cameron during a road rage incident on the M25 near Swanley in Kent four years earlier but insisted he had acted in self defence. A tv documentary later showed that Cameron was a thug who had dangerously 'cut up' Noye's vehicle on the notorious motorway. The impressionable Jury convicted Noye after 'Pathologist' Heath laughably said that Cameron's injuries were consistent with murderous intent, however unsurprisingly those conclusions have now been called into question by another expert who believes much less force was used in the M25 skirmish. Seventy percent of cases referred by the CCRC to the Court of Appeal result in convictions being quashed, if that is the case the Judge can order a retrial or simply set Noye free, his legal team believe that because he has already spent 12 years in custody and is eligible to apply for parole in 4 years time, it is highly likely he would not face a second trial and will simply walk free.

Rhodes, are you suggesting that the nice, gentle, wouldn't hurt a fly, Kenneth Moye is yet another miscarriage of justice victim, and is the lovable Kenneth another recipient of your unbridled hero worship, and adoration.

Officialspokesman - I'm not saying Kenny Noye wouldn't hurt a fly as he's clearly not a person to get on the wrong side of but in the case of the M25 murder of Stephen Cameron he was provoked and acted in self defence

The number of evil murderers, rapists and even ex Tory ministers that become born again Christians, very often just before they are entitled apply for early parole, suggests that strange things can happen in prison, so who knows, except for Rhodes who seems to know everything.

Rhodes, I appreciate that you don't drive, so this question is very hypothetical, but if you were ever cut up on the motorway, would you pursue the perpetrator, force him on to the hard shoulder to remonstrate with him, and happen to have a knife on you to use in self defence?

A tightly rolled up copy of Hello Magazine could be considered a lethal weapon.

Horace - Admitedly Stephen Cameron and his girlfriend were unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time however there was still no excuse for what Cameron did and some would argue that he got what he deserved

Just you and your type who'd argue that Rhodesly. Scum, your type btw.

Loosely - I didn't say that I would argue the fact that Stephen Cameron got what he deserved but some might

Rubbish, no-one deserves to get knifed to death for cutting someone up on the motorway. Where are you coming from man?

Oh Rhodesly, I think you already have.

There shouldn't be many people that have forgotten that Noye is at least a two time killer, that he got off one prosecution already by claiming self defence against another un-armed man. So as for being hardly as clean as the driven snow, the man, Noye, is a monster and should have no place in our society until he is completely drooling out of his mouth harmless.

Horace - I couldn't agree with you more but it doesn't distract from the fact that Stephen Cameron's actions were irresponsible and were like a red rag to a bull to Kenny Noye, Cameron must have realised that he was dealing with someone out of the ordinary when they both got out of their vehicles on the M25

So obvious from the above that Rhodes doesn't know what he's talking about. If he'd ever driven a car let alone on the M25 or any motorway it might help!

Loosely - You can tell from Stephen Cameron's picture in the link below what sort of chap he was and it was interesting that the jury's verdict at Noye's trial was not unanimous:

This is the picture in the article Rhodesly (and others), please tell us what conclusions you have drawn about "what sort of chap he was" and how it backs up your theory that he brought Noyes vicious stabbing upon himself?

Loosely - Well, as I'm sure other members will agree, it's a cocky arrogant and 'full of himself' picture isn't it and one can easily draw conclusions from it as to what sort of character Stephen Cameron was.

  • 4 months later...

Did anybody get the Evening Standard last night, if not then, wait for it, Kenny Noye was the victim of a discredited forensic scientist, namely 'Dr' Michael Heath, in what was an unfair trial. The Appeal Court heard that Noye's murder conviction eleven years ago at the Old Bailey, for the stabbing of Stephen Cameron, should be quashed, the crucial medical evidence had come from a postmortem examination carried out by Heath who was then considered to be a distingushed pathologist and expert witness, however since the trial he has faced disciplinary charges over a series of bungled postmortems and is now very much a discredited figure. 'Dr' Heath had also failed to record bruising on Stephen Cameron's knuckles which could have supported Noye's claims that he had acted in self defence so Noye is as good as a free man.
