todays referee

i have seen some bad ones over the years but that bloke today was one of the worst i have ever seen ,he didnt have a clue.i really thought the match was gona go to a punch up as he had no control and the players knew it .how on earth do these tossers get a referee badge

I must of been watching a different game! Because I think he was fine..just normal player agro..yeah he made some mistakes but just standard I thought

Agree, haven't seen a decent lino there all season, horrendous 'offside' decisions in recent weeks

I didn't think yesterdays ref was anywhere near as bad as the one against Horsham.

That does not make him any good though.

I only remarked on one of his decisions in the commentary - a foul supposedly comitted by Welford in the 2nd half - so if that's a measure then he wasn't too bad.

Did not actually think he was that bad (in comparrison to some we hav had lately he was superb). Biggest fault was his wanting to be the centre of attention. I was always taught that a good refree was one you forgot was there.

 

However, what do you expect from a referee from Essex.
