First win in the Tottenham kit. We were good in the first half but missed a couple of simple chances to go in at half time with the game safe. New signing (can't recall name sorry) scored just before half time. Our missed chances meant we had to endure our normal nervy 10 minutes at the end but we were well worth the win over the 90.

 

MoTM for me was Chris Wild who was quality today but quite a few good performances through the team.

 

Nice ground and bar there and some enthusiastic blazer types.

 

Good result lads. Well done. Hoping for a home draw in the next round.

I think we dominated the first half but didn't put our chances away. Second half I think they pushed forward a bit more but never really looked like scoring. Very nice ground and facilities though! One of the better away grounds to visit. I thought WIld done well and also Chargey done well. Still slightly worrying that we didn't put our more easier chances away but nethertheless we won. I thought the BTFC turnout was good again!

The Billericay ITF are very quiet today.

 

 

To get our first win on the road in a major cup comp is very satisfying. Glad so many were there to see it. Well done BTFC.

Considering I left on Thursday for this game, and completed nearly 300 miles after visiting friends further up the country, I was a little disappoint that we didn't put on a more convincing display.

 

After Walids first one on one miss, I thought we would of pushed on a bit and got control because we got in behind them very easy for that chance, and they didn't look like really causing us a threat. But we ended up getting the job done.

 

TC, just a question, is there a reason our team always come out in dribs and drabs for the warm up? I feel sometimes we dont look together as team when we come out, which sometimes translates into our performances. I believe a good lively warm up gives you a good stepping stone for the kick off. Maybe we should try coming out as one all together, just a thought.

 

Also adding to a warm up, just my opinion again, but Micah Hyde yesterday as skipper doing a warm up was different to the one when he hasn't been, maybe i'm looking into it a little to far.

 

Hope for a nice home draw tomorrow, then a win against that island in essex somewhere!!

Thiught we had more chances in this game than any other I have seen but unable to finish them. Nice ground, nice bar and nice people, not so sure about some of their team. A win is a win, onward into the next round.
