Dave,no joy in that result at all,just makes it easier for Predict A Result,only Topper got a Chobham win.Now we know why it is so hard to win money on Football,that has got to be the Result of the Season so far,no such thing as a certainty.Bit like R.P.V. beating Camberley last week.LUV IT.

Mole Valley SCR 0-1 Raynes Park Vale

 

Poor performance from us again, particularly so in the first half.

Created very few chances, and those that we did were from distance and comfortably dealt with by the Vale keeper. Has to be said, it was pretty much the same for them, with the recalled Leigh Bowden in our goal making a couple of decent saves.

 

Half time was 0-0

 

Vale scored early in the second half through Gavin Bolger, and for all our huff and puff we never really looked like getting it back.

 

Credit to Vale, they worked hard, and probably deserved the win.

 

We need to improve against Colliers Wood, or it could be messy (I seem to recall, i said that after the Dorking game, and the midweek performance against Guildford was much better, so fingers crossed that hold true this week)

Wasnt there so i'm sure Molly and Henry will enlighten us more but heard it wasnt a great game with neither side impressing.We were solid at the back against a very strong and direct south park side.

 

Anyway i'm still chuckling at the Chobham result !

Neither team deserved to win or lose so draw is was a fair result. Both sides were poor in the final third, hence the scoreline.

Frimley Green 1-2 Hartley

Hartley went in at half time 1 down to a shocking off side goal totally against the run of play.

Second half and FG looked the stronger and more likely to score again however Hartley scored early on and at that point I would have been happy with a draw.

Our late winner keeps us in the running, especially as lots of results went our way yesterday, but a draw would have been the fairer result.

Must say the pitch looked better than normal but I'm glad we don't have to go their in February.

For the second time in four days, those that attended at Wibbandune got full value for money though this game v Chertsey was very close.

Wood were better in the first half while Chertsey dominated the second half.

 

Everyone went home happy I think.

Good to hear a manager (Mr Day) say he is happy with his squad (he should be they are pretty good) and not looking to sign anyone from us.

We were by far the bet........ahha!! Got ya ! Fair play to chobham! Got there goals first half and defended for their lives second half. We didnt do enought to win the game untill it was too late !

we lost 2 0 to a more determined side, its the worst performance I have seen from a Cove team in the 3 seasons I have been with the club,too many players had off days and not enough players digging in and trying to improve things,Noady was our best player in a solid back 4 but when it came to attacking we had feck all,Justin didn't have one save to make all afternoon and we only created 2 cahances, well done to Egham they fully deserved the 3 points but I thought the number 11's two footed challenge on JJ deserved red,how ironic he scored the opener (I wasn't best pleased) met Steve for the first time (I think)and he seems a very committed and passionate manager just like myself.

thought we dominated the 1st 30 mins Dunc's. I can remember Justin pulling off 2 decent saves and we had chances to score that Egham threw their bodies in front of in those 30 minutes. That was all we had to give and barely got going 2nd half !

 

Raising myself out of bed this morning was tough with all the bruises sustained yesterday but i did expect it and will bounce back Tuesday....IF FIT !

Did you have a full team out brunty? I caught up with your welsh centre back last night and he said hes never been in a team with such low confidence at the moment! Did you have chances? He said baker and hodgsen were struggling for form

We were missing 3 big players but still think we should have had enough to win the game. Confidence is low Just got to scrape a result from somewhere! We had chances second half and 3 goals disallowed! Looked like a goal was coming second half then they hit us on the break with a sucker punch to kill the game. We just went through the motions untill we were two down. And fairplay to them they got their goals and that gave them something to hold on to. A bad day !!
