dont play amte justwatch around hants and surrey, eversley looking for promotion this year ?

I would guess that the majority of clubs in Div 1 will be looking for promotion.

Whether that is a realistic target or not, is another question though.

We are continuing to improve the ground and hopefully we can match these developments on the pitch.

Happy to answer any questions you have about the clubs, players etc.

Not been to Eversley's new ground. but am told it is not enclosed and changing rooms are some distance from playing area. If this is the case they cannot qualify for promotion to level 5, ie CCFL Premier Div. If this is correct it does seem odd given the massive financial investment in the site

Part of the plans are to enclose the ground. This will be completed as part of the floodlight project.

Can you advise the section of the level 5 criteria that stipulates how far a changing room must be from the pitch?

Just to give you a bit of background info. The plans are to build another changing room block in the future near the pitch (as part of the fishing lanes planned at the north of the field). The current project didn't build the changing rooms right next to the pitch as the building is required for multi sport use. When the project started to take shape 7-8 years ago, we were playing in the Aldershot & District 3rd division. Therefore it wasn't anticipated that we would be promoted to the CCL in such a short time.

Hope that clears things up a bit?

Fleet Spurs is starting to look really good. Within the last couple of years they have got seats, permanent enclosed barrier around the pitch, walk way all the way around the pitch, great floodlights, and now they are having the ground fully enclosed with a fence and a turn style. Have heard the chairman has a bit of money!

Looking good over there!

Completely agree with this, they have made great progress with their ground over the last few years.

Would be an excellent addition to the CCL if they ever decided to move across from the Wessex.

Dave Stevens has left Farleigh for Epsom and Ewell, he hadn't played for six weeks through injury but he's definately ok now, scored 7 goals in two games for the ressies last week !!!

Matt Francis has also left Farleigh to go back to where he started out at Warlingham, he had only played the two games on bank holiday weekend though

Lamnmas have signed ryan curtis from feltham and richard gough from egham.

I thought Richard Gough used to play for Spurs. If the modern, presumably somewhat less lauded, version has signed for Egham he has never even got as far as warming the bench.

You are correct he had been training with us but did not make any of the squads. Surprisingly i actually knew about this one !

is this the same richard gough that played right back at virginia water ?

Hoggy !!

The small player that sometimes plays sweeper or in front of the back 4.

Just heard Anthony Millerick (left back from Camberley and Cove before that) has signed for Sandhurst.

I see Liam Stone has rejoined Chertsey from Carshalton.

Surprised none of the money sides have made a move for any Guildford players?Chertsey don't seem to be having the usual merry go round of players which should mean a better season for them. Badshot Lea seem to have taken on that mantle and sign a new face weekly. Camberley seem to be following suit now although the players coming in don't seem to be any better than what they have and definately not in the same class as the baggy lea signings.

My top 3 looking at squads now would be Badshot Lea, chertsey and Guildford although in what order I don't know. Sandhurst and Colliers Wood to complete the top 5 as surprise packages. Epsom and Camberley this years disappointers.

have heard sandhurst have lost bobby hogg to camberley and bulgarian keeper to eversley any truth in this ?

Asen Agov will hopefully be signing for Eversley in the next few days. I believe the plan is to sign him next Wednesday to ensure that Sandhurst have enough keepers available for their game on Tuesday night.
