H.H. seems to me the C.C.L. love a fine, but by imposing one means guilt. Then on the other hand Hartley were not guilty,as the match is to be re-arranged.Where may I ask does all this fine money go.The Fan is a nice chap, just stating the obvious in my opinion.

We have been finned, but the committee reviewed the evidence and the game will be replayed.

The sooner the better on our form.

Sounds a bit fishy to me, HH !

HARTLEY why do you resort to being rude?. i was one of the people that traveled that night through bad trafic and monsoon conditions. so i have a right to have an opinion, my opinion is that the league have set a precident, as they did last year with the north greenford fiasco. i agree with smudge it always comes back to money. they should have lost 3 points, if only to deter other clubs, CCL senior league. i dont think a sunday side would have been let off so lightly. HARTLEY you call yourself a HARE, remember mr HH, FOOTBALL IS A SMALL WORLD. hope to see you at a ground soon.coffee%20%282%29.gif

Sheerwater reserves cancelled a game against our reserve team a few weeks ago and we have been informed that this is due to be re-scheduled.

I assume that re-scheduling games, rather than awarding points, is a new procedure this season. Obviously we are happy as this allows our reserves another game, that they didn't expect. However there could be maniplulation of this rule if clubs feel they are short of players for a certain game. I'm not suggesting this is the case for any of the examples listed on this thread though.

The league deemed that Sheerwater should pay us any expenses incurred as a result of the late cancellation.

Officials were also paid half their fees for the cancelled game. A similar rule applies if the game is cancelled due to the weather etc.

What going to happen when it comes near the end of the season and for example WP vs SP and SP have most of their first team are unavailable they can just call the game off and get it replayed when they have there full team. ! Don't think WP would be too happy ........ All fine at this point when nothing at stake !

Chobham cant field 8 players- 8 players constitute a game ( i think)

The fines that must have been omposed by the CCL according to their fine list is £250 for failure to fulfil fixture!

So for starters thats £250

They must have had a bloody good reason why they could not have fielded aside considernig a week earlier I had posted that they were improving on and off the pitch. Whatever the reason though it makes a mocary of this league, to many times Chobham reserves over the seasons have called their games off for failing to get a side and now its rubbing off on the first team.

I like Chobham 's people who run the club but I think the time as come for them to realise that they need to drop down into the elite or combunation to give them hope of staying in football.

I believe there is a difference in not being able to field a side and being told the game is off. If there is evidence of the later then the team should be allowed to replay the game.

If this isn't looked at or something sorted, anyone could ring a decent opposition and tell them the game is off. Something needs to be sorted

as when this happens to another side we will be on here again chewing at the bit, and quite frankly it's boring me.

HARTLEY are you saying, someone phoned your club from hayes gate. im sure the answer to that is no. so you failed to fulfill a fixture. both you and chobbham should have lost points. cant see the differance between these 2 clubs, and croydon, who lost 3 points. HARTLEY i think you want to move on, because you know you have had a touch.;)

HH completely agree there is a difference between your game and the other two.

In hindsight (which is obviously easy to say now) perhaps clubs should ensure the number calling matches that of an official in the handbook.

I spoke to our secretary and we would have accepted a call from someone saying the game was off (assuming this is what happened).however now we will ensure the number matches the club info and request an email from a club member asap (should be easy with modern phones).

Just our view of what happened and sure other have a different opinion.

Croydon played a banned Player, although the new Secretary and Player involved were unaware of this,as the old Secretary had not passed this information onto them,NO EXCUSE.heavy fine and long ban for Player, plus lose 3 points.

Chobham could not field a side for whatever reason they gave they should be warned that if this happens again, they would be expelled from the League. No Replay of Game,3 POINTS AWARDED TO KNAPHILL,HEAVY FINE FOR CHOBHAM should of been the outcome by the C.C.L.

Hartley, very lucky to get to Replay the game, fell for the 3 Card Trick, surely any Secretary worth his sort, would enquire as too the person calling him ,his position at Club, and note the Telephone Number as a reference, and ask for it to be confirmed by E.Mail..WERE HARTLEY FINED?

At the end of the day,the only winners in all this are the various F.A.s and the C.C.L. League, they are making bundles out of peoples errors, where I ask does all this C.C.L. Money go,as I am of the belief that their positions are Voluntary,as Del Boy said 'NICE LITTLE EARNER RODNEY'
