Colliers Wood 3 - 0 Egham.

0-0 at half time, 3 second half goals for Wood.

Quite dreadful, after conceding a stupidly soft goal two minutes into the second half. I had spent some of my time off this week checking for ferry times just in case our Vase match against Newport IOW goes to a replay. On this showing we won't have to worry.

Can't for the life of me see what CW get from that guy with the bad hair knot bellowing inanities all match ("It's still 0-0", when we were three down), and a spat with Steve Baker started by an overly robust foul from a CW player on our Chris Robinson did not do much for either club.

:duel:

CW won because theywere the better side, and won more of the midfield tackles and covered welll in defence. We looked pretty clueless.

That should please those who believe that all posters think the sun shines out of the collective rear ends of their own teams. I understand that Cove have signed the recently "retired" ("told me he was not enjoying his football any more" said Bakes) Wayne Noad. We face Cove at home on Saturday. Could be interesting...

Raynes Park Vale 1 v 1 Dorking Town.a fair result in the end, neither side deserved to lose.Referee Louie Barnett was a breath of fresh air, ably assisted by Keith Corrick, and Doug Merrick, and they were being assessed.Firm,in control, and time for a bit of chat with the players. Please C.C.L. do not wait weeks to give them more games, they may go rusty.

The fool was shouting 0-0 when we were 5-2 down in the vase and the same when we went 2-1 down with 5 mins to go in the league!

JJ, SO NOADY IS PLAYING FOR COVE NOW ? READ HE RETIRED BEING THE REASON HE LEFT EGHAM. DID KOO TEMPT HIM OUT OF ''RETIREMENT'' WITH FLASHING THE CASH ?

TEMPESTWARD STEVE BAKER MUST HAVE KNOWN ABOUT ALL THIS 'COS HE WOULD HAVE TO RELEASE HIM TO ALLOW MOADY TO GO TO COVE ? SO STEVE WHATS YOUR OUTAKE ON THIS DEBACLE ?

The bloke who shouts 0-0 , one head, do we really want this, show me that you want this, arms knees and fecking bumpsadasie obviously has been involved in a different type of football management than I have ever seen. Having said that he obviously has his club at heart and even took 4 cups of tea in to his changing room at half time. Good finishing from Woods to win the game and the pitch looks pretty good.

having seen quite a bit of colliers, JOHN has turned this club around. yes his vocal, but never heard him bad mouth the other side. and leaves the ref alone. you are going to have to explain, what makes this approach, worse than the manager, that wants to pass every ball, tell a player when he should shoot. he must be doing something right. coffee%20%282%29.gif

I was feeling a bit tetchy last night when I posted it. We never looked like ending our dreadful run at Wibbbandune in the League, but we have won comfortably twice there in cups - last season we won 3-1 in the Surrey Senior and we were easily worth the 4-2 League Cup win a few weeks ago. Shouty bloke sounded like a pillock in the League Cup match when we were winning so it was always going to grate when we were absolute pish last night. It must work for them and I suppose if he were on our side we would love him to pieces if it accompanied decent results. As for the rest of the club, no problems at all, and the pitch was good.

Good luck to the Colliers Wood gaffer,if it aint broke why fix it,the shout is said with passion, and you never hear him berating the Officials. And if it gets up some peoples noses, tough titty.0-0 is a great shout, because if it stays that way you do not lose,as your winning 3-0 at the time.GOOD ON YOU JOHN,KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.Your players love you, that's all that counts.

Sorry I couldn't make the match Smudgie. Nursing duties, I'm afraid !

Official DFC Match Report:-

Dorking gained their second successive draw against Raynes Park Vale in the CCL Premier Division on Wednesday night, taking the lead through Terry Fennessey. Given that Raynes PV had secured a morale boosting win over Camberley Town at the weekend, and had thumped Farnborough NE 7-0 in their match before that, this was not a bad result for Chicks, although manager Pete Buckland will know that with a little more luck his team could have emerged as victors in this and their previous match against Mole Valley SCR Fennessey had rejoined the club having played under Tony Webb in the promotion year from CCL Division 1 and made an immediate impact, scoring a fnie goal from a dipping volley to put Dorking in front. The addition of the recent signings appears to have stiffened up the Dorking line up, and the one goal conceded in the last 2 matches is a marked improvement for the team. Raynes Park Vale though arguably had done enough to secure a point in the game and equalised in the second half to take a share of the spoils. The draw keeps Raynes PV one point ahead of Dorking in the league, Dorking leapfrogging Banstead Athletic into 19th spot in the division, 2 short of Croydon who have been deducted three points by the league for using an inelegible player in a previous match. Dorking now play Badshot Lea away on Saturday, before a re-arranged game with Guildford at home on Tuesday 19th October.

After the match we went in the clubhouse for a beer and the Colliers Wood manager walked in bragging... not about the result, just that he was happy to have p*ssed off the Egham management and was making mooning guestures. A little annoyed I called him a [****!!****] and he quickly disappeared.

Not knocking his ability to turn Colliers Wood round but the bloke is definitely a complete [****!!****] of a person!

Not sure how this a "DEBACLE".

Noady told me he was retiring and left.

If he is now playing for Cove i would be extremly dissapointed as that would make his reason for leaving not genuine

and also i am not aware that his registration has been cancelled.

Perhaps someone on here can update me ?

Just to let you know that the reason i had a lively conversation with the Cove guy was because he accused me and my team of getting his player sent of.

Didn't like that comment one bit. Also found a lot of his comments quite disrepectful during the game.

Thats the only problem i had. Every has their own style and good luck to him and his team.

In regards to the game i thought the first half was very even and the only difference in the second half was their number 9.

Cant see him being ther very long !

Very dissapointing result though.

Lets hope we can put it right tomorrow
