I was not there tonight but listened to the commentary. A bit disappointed that we did not try and get back into the game when we went 4 - 2 down. The substitutions showed that IOC was not too bothered about the result. One worry from tonight is that I hope Turner does not get injured, because Lamprell does not appear to be a suitable replacement for us in that position.

 

What I don't understand is what the sponsors are for. Do they just pay for a trophy. If the Ryman league want this competition to be more popular why don't they offer prize money for the finalists to keep the interest there

Unfortunately the game was on a downer when IOC announced that he would be playing fringe players and didnt seem that bothered about the result and more perhaps about the quality of the Reserve/fringe players and I think the score tells him a story. Not there tonite (was watching England - fail) but would be interested to know if the coaching staff were there and what they could have learnt from tonites game??

FOR WHAT IVE BEEN HEARING IOC COULDNT GIVE A [censored] ABOUT TONITES GAME,GETTING PLAYERS TO TURN UP AND NOT PLAYING THEM ,THE PLAYERS FEEL LET DOWN.SO ABOUT TEN OFF US TURNED AROUND AND WENT TO THE PUB INSTEAD.
