Well I thought I would post a topic on the Chippenham forum as they have been moaning about their team and saying they were not bothering to come to Saturdays game.

 

However when I tried to sign up to their forum I was not allowed to post and now I have been removed as a user on the forum.

 

Also looking at their other posts they seem very much like a bunch who like to moan at each other so should be a good atmosphere on saturday.

Hi,

 

My name is Richard Chappell and I am the Club Photographer for Chippenham and I am looking forward to the match on Saturday, yes unfortunately we do have a few moaning fans and some act like total morons, and some say that they are not going to waste money supporting Chippenham when we lose ? (and that was the first time have lost in a League match this season) but in my opinion they are not true fans because a true fan supports the team winning or losing .

 

The majority of use are well behaved and friendly like nothing better than to watch a good game of football, anyway I look forward to Saturday and may the best team win.

It seems this post has caused a bit of a debate on their forum

 

You could say that, Mark! Mr Chappell is, indeed, the Chippenham Town Club Photographer, but he is also an Associate Director of the Club, and as such his comments regarding certain fans being morons have not gone down well.........to say the least. To insult his fellow supporters by calling them morons is one thing, but to do so as a club official is totally out of order. Those of us who have supported the Bluebirds through thick and thin, (and believe me we have had some very thin times!), just cannot understand his comments. How on earth someone can call fellow supporters morons, on another club's forum and in the official position of Associate Director is beyond the comprehension of most of us!

 

Never mind, more importantly good luck to both teams on Saturday!............and I can assure you that you will meet very few morons amongst the travelling Chippenham fans!

If watching Slough doesn't give your enough of a headache, you can come and get one courtesy of me at the Wheatsheaf Pub, Albert St Slough later that night

 

seen the you tube does anybody sing in this group you got? i like the 70's if you all no any

trust me mark44 there will be a fare few on sat from ctfc -i am the moderator for bluebirds beak sorry about confusion on ur REG as i have only just taken over m8 from a GOD- BLESS HIM (cepen park) plz re apply and i will gladley welcome you :welcome: see you all sat :futbolbud2:

No confusion, Mark, our moderator just does not/did not approve of 'foreigners' on our forum! But a bit of 'arm twisting' has done the trick.You are genuinely welcomed by other forum members. Looking forward to a decent replay on Tuesday. Safe journey!
