Depends on the terms of the loan agreement.

 

Sometimes the players wages are split proportionately between the two clubs.

 

Must admit his loan to us could get even more expensive. If we draw on Saturday it might be 2 weeks into the 1 months loan agreement before Anthony Thomas gets to start a match!!

Based on Saturday I'm at a loss to see what he might add to the current squad. We have a natural goalscorer and we also have players who work their socks off. The only thing we might need up front occasionally (like Saturday when we resort to trying to hit the front players) is someone big and strong in the air and he certainly didn't come across as being either.

The only thing I can think of is that he is supposed to be a bit quick and has been a prolific scorer at this level.

 

My main concern is who's place will Thomas be taking?.

 

If we play with two up front it will be two out of Sonner, Sippetts and Burnell who will be on the bench.

 

If we play 3 up front with 3 in mid-field who dips out in mid-field?.
