Match Details Pages and Other Bits!

There have been a couple of changes to the Match Details pages and linking to them.

 

Firstly.......

I have been trying to work on a system that makes a link to the Match Details page more apparent while a match is taking place and think I have cracked it!!

From todays game, once the game kicks off, the 'Next Match' box in the left column should change to something like this..........

 

It is still not an ideal way of doing things but as it is late, that is what I will stick with for now!! Once the game is finished the match will move to the 'Last Match' box and the next game (Thamesmead) should appear in 'Next Match'. I have tested it and it does all seem to be working!

 

The other change is that the actual Match Detail page now automatically refreshes every 30 seconds so any substitutions and scorers should appear on there within a minute of them happening (providing I can get a good signal with my phone).

The only problem with this may be that if there are too many people viewing the page at the same time, with it constantly refreshing, it may 'fall over' but will see how it goes.

 

 

A couple of other changes is that the Match Detail, Photo Gallery and Report Icons (the ones found in those boxes and on the Fixtures and Result lists) and been replaced with ones that are a bit clearer.

 

Finally there have been a few changes in the Player Profile and Player Stats departments recently but as there is a few more changes on the way I will mention them when they are all done.
