Past and Present

Who past or present all be it a player, club, manager or even a match has left an impression or is now leaving a mark to be remembered in the CCL League. For me in the years I have been involved teams like AFC Wimbledon, Withdean, Merstham, Chipstead. Teams promoted from div1 that have progressed...Bedfont green, Guildford city, Colliers wood, Mole Valley and Hanworth Villa have all done better than expected. Teams in div1 that should have progressed. Staines Lammas, Coney Hall, Worcester Park. As for teams now that are pushing the boundarys to go up ffrom div 1 and leave their mark, South Park, Staines Lammas, Warlingham, Bedfont Sports. I may have missed a few but generally teams that have wanted success have all gone and got it. Teams that have sat back and not pushed themsleves have been left behind.

Well, if this includes those running the League then surely Alan Constable has to be a firm favourite?

Lately this Froum and TRS are making an impression.

Been on this league for 13 years now so lots of highlights but the biggest impression was when I sent a player off one cold January Saturday afternoon not knowing that it would cost me an evening of my life travelling halfway round the M25 to some god forsaken place to hear what was a pointless hearing that I really wasnt needed at ;)

I would like to say this has the most veiws as Egham are the Brazil of the CCL, however that might be stretching the truth !

I think this ones gets the veiws based on TRS filming the two main talking points at the same time

Footage spielberg would have been proud of !

446??

those stats have got to be wrong cos i have watched it at least 500 times myself.

I've got it on a repeat loop on the big screen in my house!

Wife and kids are really bored of it now but i love it. My team mates dont like me much either as i reinact the chest down, 2 bounces and wallop at every training session!

What relevance has this to highlights, maybe Tucks can throw some LIGHT on this matter.

Must agree Johnno,I watch it everyday, maybe like Kroons we have been TUCKed up.People would rather watch a regular occurence,in the C.C.L.Where a foul is committed, than an exquisite piece of SKILL being executed, shows what a sad bunch,we have on here.Would not know TALENT when they saw it.

And i've watched it at least 500 times as well JJ and it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up,I scored for Sandhurst against Bedfont in the league cup final at Woking in 1896(it was a long time ago)we lost 2 1 but it was a great goal as well shame TRS wasn't around then.In the last few years have won many trophies but winning the league cup last season was probably the highlight and that goal, well.
