Gamu Nhengu

Recommended Posts

I suppose she went there because she was invited

Officialspokesman - You said it, that's the trouble with our once proud Country as law breakers get rewarded whilst honest, law abiding citizens, get all the grief

Rhodes as usual reads a story in the gutter press, believes every word and then posts on this forum in his own inimitable style.

The facts are that Gamus mother is accused of obtaining benefits she is not entitled to and now faces deportation, and as a dependant Gamu would be also forced to return to a dangerous and hostile country. Gamu is totally innocent of any crime, and is a law abiding citizen, and should not be punished for the actions of another individuals alleged crimes.

In my opinion Gamu adds much more to the enrichment of our so called once proud country, than delusional fantasists like Rhodes who idolises the useless and rich and famous for no other reason than their celebrity status.

Officialspokesman - You are either very naive or deluded if that's what you truly believe. Gamu must have known full well what was going on, she comes across as if butter wouldn't melt in her mouth but, from what I understand, the family made a visit to their native Zimbabwe only two years or so ago for a holiday yet Gamu claims that they will almost certainly be killed if they went back.

Why would you assume that Gamu knows what was going on, if anything was going on at all?

It would be nice if you could tear yourself away from your keyboard for a longish time, and buy a one way ticket to Zimbabwe to see how safe it really is.

So it turns out that Gamu has won the right to an appeal since the Home Office got it wrong, after being in the country for 5 years she WAS entitled to claim benefits. Civil servants, what can you do?

Loosely - There are some interesting comments on the attached Blog and I think you should read them. So are you in favour then of all and sundry coming to our green and pleasant land and milking the system for all it's worth, it would appear that you are:

Rhodesly - I don't believe I have ever mentioned my thoughts on the UK's Immigration Policy or the benefits that "all and sundry" are eligible to. You really must learn not to cast such aspersions, it just makes you look like an even bigger bigot.

You would be surprised to hear that I do not believe in interfering with "developing countries" and their nationals. They should be allowed to develop however we have had a long history of colonisation and interfering. It should stop.

As part of the EU, quotas for the exchange of EU citizens need negotiating since obviously some countries are overburdened unjustly, once agreed the latest in and over quota should be given a train ticket to the nearest country on their return route to their own country and securely escorted. I know there will be always be calls that even this is unfair but life ain't fair and you look after your own first.

Of course we'll always accept tax paying and non resource or employment claiming retirees from the EU, we need to drive house prices up somehow.

I was shocked to the core to learn that Gamu is releasing a Christmas single on 13 December which is being widely tipped to do battle for the prestigious festive number one spot. Gamu has teamed up with ex-music teacher David Clifford for the Charity fundraising track called 'Where Will You Sleep This Christmas' and funds raised through sales will go towards the children's Charity Aberlour which helps disadvantaged children in the City of Stirling although you can be certain Gamu and her family will receive a handsome 'rake off'. Speaking about the song Gamu told the Daily Record newspaper 'from the minute I heard the song, I loved it, this is the first time I have done anything like this so I was really honoured when Mr Clifford asked me to record it'. A Aberlour spokesperson added: 'we have had a long association with Gamu who has sung at our Christmas concert for the past three years, a small record company in Glasgow has taken the song on as a Charitable project to release it in a small way because we can't spend a lot of money on the single'.

So this girl who you think should be kicked out of the country has given her time up for charity, not just this year but for the previous three years demonstrating that it's not just a cynical ploy?

All you can do is claim that she will get a rake-off?

Shame on her for doing something for others. Disgusting. The girl needs to learn to be more selfish if she has any hopes of staying here.

Its quite outrageous that you should suggest that Gamu and her family will receive a handsome rake off when you just haven't got a clue.

Whatever way you look at it, the poor girl has come to Britain from a dangerous and hostile country, and is now trying to put something back into her adopted homeland, and she should be applauded, not chastised by small minded people such as yourself.

Just out of curiosity. what good deeds will you be doing for society in the coming season of goodwill Rhodes.

Did anybody happen to spot that Gamu is finally, yes finally, going to be deported, her family lost their appeal to remain in this Country and must quit their Scotland home after the Border Agency ruled that it is safe for them to return to their native Zimbabwe after Gamu laughably claimed

that she faced a firing squad if she were to return.

Horace - What has that got to do with Gamu Nhengu who is probably being frogmarched back to Zimbabwe 'as we speak' by the Border Agency who have gone up in my estimation.

Did you see the coverage recently where an HM Inspector found that there were around 3,000 organisations sponsoring migrant "workers" that had never been checked for authenticity?

Horace - That doesn't surprise me however Gamu and her family knew exactly what they were doing and knew full well that they were in the Country illegally, their big mistake was entering Gamu for the X Factor otherwise they may never have been caught red handed

I feel rather ashamed that Gamu and her family have been deported as Gamu was a totally innocent party, and her mother, who bought her to the UK was a hardworking nurse (and taxpayer).

Surely it would have been better if we had chucked out all those useless bankers who threatened to quit anyway, if they weren't allowed to continue receiving their obscene bonuses. It might also be an idea if any overpaid premiership players like Rooney and the even more lovable Ashley Cole ask for a transfer, they too could be deported.

This story has gone a bit cold hasn't it, do we know whether Gamu and her family were finally deported back to her native Zimbabwe to face the music of Robert Mugabe's regime
