its too early to bet and with all the scandals in the world probably safe for them not to allow betting so early on.

 

Was the same a few years back when i wanted to put a bet on a result for the World darts championships at Circus Tavern. Was told no local bookies would take bets on the early rounds. The only way to bet would be to do it with the bookies at the event.

 

Have been to the last 2 PDC World Darts tournaments at the Ally Pally and won a couple of big bets by predicting the scores.

 

Have got 4 tickets for this years event but the wife booked a holiday to Egypt the same week so will need to sell them now. Great seats too. 6 rows back in the centre!!

Correct Johnno. The Vase is only introduce or was last year from the 5th round onwards. We were able to bet on our game against Whitley Bay and also on winning the competion once that round was drawn.

Skybet i believe are the only bookmaker to do it.

Gonna ebay them but not until i see the draw which is usually done early december. The tickets are for the evening of Thursday 30th December which is 3 x third round matches, table L row 6 seats 1 to 4.

 

 

If that date ends up being Phil Taylor, James Wade or any of the big guns then i know they will fetch some decent money!

I used to play darts against my old mate James Wade and always hope he can sort me out some complimentary tickets but i think he's too big time now and has forgotten his old darts sparring partners! Dont think he's ever gotten over me beating him in the Friday night singles competition. He was only 17 at the time!!

 

Gutted i cant make it cos i usually miss the ticket allocation and have to settle for ebay tickets which usually means i pay a little over the odds and dont always get the seats i really want. This time i did get good seats and tickets but the wife then books a holiday to Egypt . flame.gif

 

I paid £50 per ticket so hope that the big names are drawn to play on the 30th December and hope to get in the region of £70 per ticket.

Come back with an offer early December if you can wait that long!

decent matches with big names in every match! Who wouldnt pay good money to be at these matches?

Molly - Not sure i'm allowed to sell items via this website but will post it on here when the draw is released. I would of course prefer to sell to a forumite!

 

and it is a great night out. Especially when we go in fancy dress!
