I thought Mr Connor was doing well until he sent Wayne off and we don't know why? I also felt it was not alright to smack David Allen in the mouth!

 

His linesman on the stand side on second half was poor and cost us position and possession on a number of occasions because he wasn't watching play and the ball was taken well out of play but he didn't see it and let Ilford play on. He was no help to Mr Connor at all!

 

So 5/10 until "etfcandy" finds out the facts about the sending off then I reserve the right to change my opinion up or down.

I'd give Connor 7/10 for the first half and 4/10 for the second.

 

Maybe he can see things no one else can.

Can't help you there Cleggy as I did not even know that Wayne had been sent off until someone told me at the end! Worrying times are ahead with poor disciplinary record.

The ref was good today. He held the players and most of the fans respect and it did not decend into mayhem once.

 

9/10 for control well done Mr Cook so much better than Mr Connor on Tuesday night!

7/10 from me for todays lady referee Nicola Burston. Controlled the game well but was a bit behind the action sometimes.

 

Town had a number of potential penalties on Ian Cooper and David Allen but she wasn't going to grant one today.

 

Good to have a ref that I felt was unbiased. Needs to blow that whistle a bit stronger though for those of us who are mutton jeff.
