Occasionally, justice is sweet....

Recommended Posts

I was driving to work early this morning in a 50mph limit. It cuts to a 40 limit just before a railway bridge and a bend. I slowed and as I came under the bridge spotted a police car waiting to join my lane. The guy behind me closed rapidly. I checked my speed - 40 and the police car pulled out behind the guy on my tail. The guy was clearly annoyed at me slowing down as he closed up to my bumper. After 50 yards, the limit changes to 30, so I slowed again, thinking "surely "Michael Schumacher" behind has looked in his mirror".

Clearly not, as he closed to a few feet and started flashing his lights for me to get a move on. 50 yards further on there is a roundabout and the road widens to allow traffic to turn right. Before we got there, "Michael" yanked his car sharply into the turn right lane and sped past, straight on. I slowed to make sure the police car got a good run at him, and it must have been at least 30 yards before "Michael" finally looked in his mirror and saw the Light! Blue, of course!

I gave him a friendly wave, as I passed him waiting for the policeman getting our of his car....... Made my day!
