If reported correctly, i read in the NLP that our injured Ishmail spent last week and Leeds United on trial and 'impressed'.

 

 

Early days,but deserves every chance-just hope MFC have a secure contract with him.

 

If something were to happen-£20000, a sell on fee, loaned back to 'Gate for the season, and a psf would do nicely

On the subject of ishmail- down here in the west country, Forest green have just signed fellow sierra leone international -malvin kamara.

 

It may be that kamara is the equivalent of Smith in sierra leone land; but i'll have to see if i can find out if they are related.

Yeah I do enjoy watching him too..but when a club like leeds comes in for you, you gotta go..and good luck to him if he does go...annoying for us! But good for him!

Given that he had no track record in non-league when he joined us, I would be surprised. And, of course, if he is looking to make it at a higher level then he might not want to sign one even if one is offered.

Just for the record, the reasons that we don't normally officially talk about who is or is not on contract are confidentiality and that it potentially alerts other clubs about the status of our players that they may be inetersted in.

Spot on CE and I think that's always the case although Rooney has illiustrated that logical thinking and footballers don't always go together!
