final score was 3-1.... Hammat was sent off towards end for a second yellow... well done to Steve and the team!!! Brilliant to win at a team who are in 2nd place in their respective league..

we now face another Ryman South side in the next round.....Walton Casuals at home... they won 1-2 at Eastbourne Town

Excellent performance.

Anyone know why Jonsie was booked as the team left the field at the end ?

Very well done to Steve and the lads and congratulations on maintaining your excellent run of results in both the league and cup competitions. You did Enfield proud today with this performance and the quality of your play on a very difficult playing surface, particularly in the first half, was absolutely superb. Leatherhead are certainly not a bad side, but at times you made them look very average, and this result speaks volumes for your ability, determination and team spirit. There is a lot of confidence and character in this team, and it is well capable of securing promotion this season, and progressing further in the main cup competitions. Good luck you guys and many thanks for brightening our day on a very wet miserable afternoon.

Great result. Walton Casuals will be a tough challenge but a game worth looking forward too on the 16th of October.

As for Jonesy-I suppose the Ref thought it unusual he had not been booked whilst on the pitch so would'nt disappoint and did the next best thing available to him by booking him off it.

MoM They all played well however a turning point was when Ben Hammond went off injured and we lost control of that flank so he was my MoM. Similarly when Jey was subbed we missed him. The two wide players played very well today.

Has Bryan Hammet been taking Monkey Glands. He seems to have that youthful zest which has been lacking in previous seasons? Very unlucky to get a double booking yet the Leatherhead guy did not even get a booking for a straight left to Paul Campbell and as for the handbags. I accept there was a lot of Argy Bargy by both sides but number 8 clearly hit Andy and he did not retaliate but expected the ref to do his job.

Andy - you get hit - no matter how soft - you go down. You dont continue the argument. Take a lesson from Gio!

It might be fair but not accurate.

" Silva broke down the right and found Wallace to float a high ball into the box for Hammatt to head home for his second and Town’s third goal of the match after 50 minutes."

It was Hammond who sent the ball in to Hammatt and he injured himself in the process.

He didn't injure himself but had a lot of help from one of their players who also managed to get away with kicking a player in the head, he did manage an earlier booking for having a go at the ref though. I wonder which is the most dangerous?

That is an old dislike of mine when a referee takes more action over words said to him than dealing with somebody being wreckless in their challeges. The safety of anybodies well being is a priority as derogity comments to the officials must also be dealt with strongly. It's just the latter seems to be a priority.
