Spoke to Alan's son after the game (thought he had lost a few pounds) and he said he was talking to the gaffer after the game.

 

However, we will all have to wait till we hear anything on the official site as anything else is pure speculation, conjecture and idle non PC gossip on our behalf.

Is also vital we have Saunders & Wilson in our side.

Saunders for his workrate,arial ability & captaincy & Wilson for his deliveries from set pieces in particular,seeing as though goals from open play seem to be at a minimunm with us these days.

The pace of Kamara up front is sorely missed & Pinnock we all know can do a decent job out there.

Stubbs would be a good addition to the squad,again for his workrate, but at this moment time we arent in dire need of him.Lets not forget we have both Marsden & Rogers in the middle too.

And part of the reason we don't create a lot from open play? Because Wayne gives the ball away in a panic. Sorry, he seems an honest lad and I'm sure he tries his best but I do believe we'd be a better side without him. His set pieces are usually good though.

Stubbs was our best player last season in my opinion.

Perhaps, but we were a losing team, if he has improved his distribution since being away fine, as he undoubtedly has energy, and ability but we are a much improved side this season, having said all that if the budget allows it, good, but he might not start every game.

Wow-does'nt that just show how we all have divergent views on players.

 

That given-don't we need all of those players-as what happens when we get injuries and suspensions-at the moment we are only averaging 2 players out every game-but that will easily become 3/4 per game soon-and then we definately need all of the above players
