Royalists bust

Major news ladies and gents. I hear that the mighty royalists are close to going bust and have at least 4 legal actions going on against their chairman for what I am told are non football debts? I hear that the amount is huge and that our superior friends may not be around for much longer. based on what happened to them in the summer and the commotion with Scott and the Chairman saying that he had overspent the budget, you would think that it would be reduced-but no Despite the words of Dave " trust me cos I always tell the truth" Mudge in the paper about a hellenic budget, I know that it is at least the same as last year! Some people just deserve each other dont they? So despite the fact that we have had a couple of poor results recently- we will still be here at the end of the season COYR

Some news regarding take over talks in the Advertiser - Source - and some interesting chatter on their forum.

As much as we have a rivalry between the two sides, if they did go bust it would be a shame. Its not nice seeing non league clubs fold and lets not forget it wasn't so long ago that Slough (on a number of occasions) came close to folding too.

Of course we don't want Windsor to go under , we are a non league family and need to give them as much support as we can ..forget the rivalry ....We need teams like Windsor to survive ..

good luck to them with their endeavours... we know all about these times ! It hurts like hell , but fingers crossed the person taking over does not try to sail them down the river !

I'm certainly with Tom, Mark44 and Chris on this one... (probably because I am a Windsor fan). But I know that the majority of Windsor fans wouldn't want to see Slough fall foul of the "Tax Twat" and have to fold, nor any other club. Most Windsor fans would like to see you guys in the same league as us, preferably you coming up for the derby games again.

As for Chenns... if it did go baby feeders up sure he will be looking for another club but I believe there are three clubs still looking at him from the Football League and upper Non-League echelons.

So good luck to you lot for your promotion challenge and lets hope that luck remains with us regarding this business side of football we are supposed to be staring at!

Having had the income from Slough and Bedfont to boost their income and still be in the red, Peter "Martyn Deaner school of finance" Simpson needs to go.

Also last years promotion looks that it was achived on false funding that disadvantaged clubs sticking to sensible budgets.

So if Windsor went into administration and got docked points, even leading to relegation, it would be of their own making and I would have no sympathy.

That is a bit harsh Staines. As I said in the post above yeah maybe they did punch above their weight but can the fans, the stewards, the programme sellers, the guys in the bar, the real people behind the club be blamed for it and have to suffer..... i think thety dont deserve that

It would definately be a shame if the club were to fold because of the actions of a few. Regardless of the fact that are our local rivals, you shouldn't wish it on anyone, especially when we came so close to going under a few years ago!
