syd_lexic
So according to www.nonleaguedaily.com Broxbourne & Mark Beels have parted by mutual consent. Who's going to be in the running ? It's a good club with a fantastic pitch, I bet there won't be a shortage of applicants.

I am sure Rhodes will throw a few old names up from the past that should be given the job...

COYS
Coco2010 - Just gut feeling Some what suprised by the appointment...They were the old manager's assistant's that he brought to the club!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless they were not having any say in the team and the training and the manager just done what he felt like doing or was it they both just said nothing, watched the team go down hill in hope the manager would leave? If none of the above what are they going to change cause surely they would have already done it before??
Rhodes
Guess who were all over the Non League Today Website like a rash again yesterday: http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/news/index.php?&newsmode=FULL&nid=70422 Molten Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division club Broxbourne Borough dug deep last Saturday to fashion a 2-2 away draw at Oxhey Jets. That represented a decent start for new boss Tom Mundt (pictured) and his number two Kevin Wakelin to take into Tuesday`s visit to Biggleswade United. Broxbourne director of football Graham Dodd confirmed to nonleaguedaily: “The past week has been a traumatic one following the departure of Mark Beels at the conclusion of the Hertford Town game last Tuesday. But the grit, determination and resolve shown by the players and management team against the Jets did themselves immense credit. “We have dusted ourselves down and are moving on in a positive manner, despite there being player movement out of the club. However, we have been heartened by one of our favourite sons returning to Goffs Lane.” Midfielder Daryl Mitchell has left the club, and whilst Boro have not heard from the player himself, expect former Ware and Oxford United player Paul Burton to do likewise. Murat Karagul, a firm favourite with the Goffs Lane faithful and a front line player with a wonderful goal-per-game ratio, has also decided he has played his last game at the Hertfordshire club. But on the positive side was a first league goal for left-sided wingman Lee Roberts against the Jets and also an assist in the second for Mark Brennan. Great news also for Boro is the return of central defender Michael Nathan to his former club after a spell at SSML Division One side Cockfosters, and a more than competent debut from 17-year-old Jack Hoy, recently released by npower League Two side Barnet. Rhodes
This has made my day, Bradley Drysdale finally gets the recognition he richly deserves: http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/news/index.php?&newsmode=FULL&nid=70577 Molten Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division club Broxbourne Borough`s new management team of Tom Mundt and his number two Kevin Wakelin gained their first success last Saturday , winning 5-3 against high-flying Leverstock Green. The Goffs Lane club's chairman Peter Harris praised the efforts of his on and off the field contributors, whilst also announcing that they have made three additional signings, all whom featured against Leverstock and are well known on the local circuit. Chescking in at Boro are former Waltham Abbey players Jordon Bostock (right), Aaron Gayle (above) and Billy Holland. Bostock is a quality central defender of some considerable substance and brother of Albert Bostock, already a regular performer at the heart of the Broxbourne rearguard. Holland is an out and out striker, tall, gangly and a real handful for opposition defences, whilst former Barking, Redbridge and Clapton forward Gayle also has much to offer his new club. Bradley Drisdale again achieved his chairman`s man of the match nomination last Saturday, scoring a double and showing blistering pace down the flanks to remind everyone why this high octane performer is very much a fans` favourite. Also moving swiftly into this category is left-sided wingman Lee Roberts, again with a two-goal contribution, making it four goals in three games now for the former Hertford Town player who is rapidly winning terrace support for big hearted performances in Boro colours. Broxbourne now have great opportunity to spend time out on the training ground ahead of Saturday`s Goff Lane meeting with Kingsbury London Tigers, with Harris finalising by saying: “I wish to make special mention of the way both Tom and Kevin are gelling as an effective management team, and am so very pleased for them. “It has been difficult times for us of late, but the win against Leverstock Green and the all-round commitment was a real tonic for everyone associated with our club. “We are all working toward a new era with totally renewed confidence.” (Dave Griffiths)
