It may be three months away but MISA are already planning the 'Grand Draw' which will take place at the match versus Hendon on December 18th.

 

To continue with the success of previous years the regular plea for help in putting together a list of prizes is being made.

 

Anyone who feels they can donate a prize please contact Keith Lewis (01843 226963) or speak to a committee member when at Hartsdown.

The raffle tickets are due back from the printers any day now. This will allow us to sell at quite a number of home matches prior to the draw being made on Saturday December 18th, the match versus Hendon. (Remember last year we were seriously undermined by the weather causing unprecedented cancellations!). If anyone reading this should like to contribute to the prize list please contact a MISA committee member or ring Keith Lewis (01843 226963) or see him at the tea hut on match days.

As seems likely today's game will be called off, the Grand Draw will have to take place on the day named.

 

This will be at the Clubhouse today. Sorry I can't give an exact time, it will depend on conditions.

 

Good luck anyway . . . A list of winners will be posted on the forum and no doubt on the official MISA section of the Club Web Site.

On behalf of the MISA Commttee I would like to give a huge thank you to all those supporters who most generously donated

prizes for the Grand Christmas Draw, your response was amazing again this year with a total of 31 donations, a brilliant achievement.

 

One other donation was received which with the agreement of the donor we are going to sell/auction in the New Year.

It consisted of a large number of consecutive copies from the 1970's of the Victor Comic, hopefully there is a collector out there

somewhere who will want them.

 

Thanks also to all who purchased tickets for the draw, sales were up on last year, unfortunately the Hendon game being called off

was a chance lost to sell a good few more tickets.
