Well said O.

Confidence is certainly lacking, I really feel that a couple of scrappy wins and a bit of luck and we' ve got the personnel to get going. Difficult just making that breakthrough though.

I'm sure we won't go down, we really are too good for that (I know that's been said of teams in the past that have gone down but we've been in the Ryman Premier for a while now and know what's required).

Let's start with a result on Saturday

As for Dagger, all he did was transfer to another club, good luck to him.

I didn't have a choice.

I just happened to move to Hornchurch with the wife.

Otherwise i would have been homeless.

Support your local team and all that.

Once bitten and that was that.

Still go to Orient, but still manage 35 games a season for both clubs.

Results aside I think I speak for most when its entertianment that we turn up for. When we were in the Essex Senior League particularly the football and all round atmosphere was a joy (admittedly we were winning). But the point is let's lose 4-3 than 1-0 with no shots on goal!

I said a similar thing on the canvey forum in the close season about last season , we are only ever going to be inthe BS south, ryman prem or ryman north the way to keep the floating supporter or the kids coming is to make it exciting at both clubs there is only 300 who really care, people want goals and half decent football as you said better a 3-3 than a 0-0 both games is only one point but when you are paying 9.50 the 3-3 will tempt the floating supporter to pay it again and maybe bring a mate and in future can you say "its just like watching brazil" not real madrid

I think Orient and Hornchurch are quite similar.

When things are not going right we revert to the long ball.

Our Midfield are never supporting the front 2 for knock downs etc.

We can be quite a good footballing side if we keep it on the floor and keep it simple.

If you are not playing well and losing you will lose support.

That's not me, though.

Most people who rant about us, do so because they are passionate about their team.

Some of us. will keep coming no matter what.
