Attended the wembley game last night. took along 10year old grandaughter. ball goes out of play, ref runs from one side of pitch to the other, asks molesey left back, pull up your shorts what have you on underneath. he reveals black what look like skin tight pants. this brought a giggle from grandaughter. ref says take them off, he directs him to bench on farside, i will take them off here , he tells ref. he pulls off first shorts then second to reveal crown jewels and hairy bum. now all joking aside, how did that help game. cant wait for the kids next homework, a night out with grandad.:bootyshake:

It's been a rule for many years that any undershorts must be he same colour as your shorts. Likewise with the under tops from a couple of seasons ago. This season however Ref's have been asked to clamp down hard on it, hence last nights moment of madness

The Player in question should be taken to the Tower, nothing worse than a hairy bum.Trip home from there on a Saturday is a nightmare,if you follow Tom Tom,Westfield have a lot to answer for,Shopping Centre that is.How did Wembley's Ian Bates play, impressed with him Saturday

not one of batesy better games, another funny moment , the moles supporter with long blonde hair, being mistaken for mr bates, and being asked by a young lad if he could have a trial.coffee%20%282%29.gif

Kroons......What about when the less than manley players where tights?

Law 4 defines undergarment colours as this:

Undershirts, the sleeves must be the same colour as the main colour of the playing shirt sleeve

Undershorts, the shorts must be the same colour as the main colour of the playing shorts.

Law 4 does not define leggings/tights/whatever you want to call them.

Not only have refs been asked to clamp down on it, failing to do so WILL result in dropped marks from Assessors.  Between a rock and a hard place...

We had the following happen last year.

Before the game last year at Chessington we were told about undershorts and that they had to match (mental rule)

This resulted in one of our players changing

Two minutes into the game i noticed there centre forward had black under shorts on and i asked the linesman to explain

why he was allowed as there shorts were blue:

To my amazement he replied: "The player is black so if he takes them of then his legs will still be black so its not a problem "? (this was genuinley his answer)

I replied "can my white players then were white as underneath there legs are white"

Hi reply "you got me there "

Come on officials deal with that one !

Rules like this make me laugh,it's like checking boots before a game, sensible in my opinion. But why are these not checked at the start of the 2nd half, players leave the field of play,so are out of site of the Officials for 15 mins,a change of boots could occur, but they would not know. But when a sub is used they check them. It's like if I was a Sikh could I wear a Turban,or be requested to remove it.Striped Shorts could be a way round it,red, white, and blue,or would you have to wear same colour undergarments.

OH OKAY THE FAN.

TO GO AND WATCH A PRO-GAME NOWADAYS IS VERY EXPENSIVE AND WATCHING TOO MANY EGO'S. GIVE ME THE DOWN TO EARTH HONEST NON-LEAGUE GRASS ROOTS FOOTBALL WHERE I BELIEVE THE MAJORITY OF THE PLAYER ON SHOW GIVE THEIR VERY BEST AND MOST OF THE TIMES. THE £6.00 ENTRANCE, £1.00-£2.00 FOR A PROGRAMME AND TEA/COFFEE AND SO MUCH FUNNT BANTER WHICH YOU CAN'T GET AT ANY PRO-GAME MAKES IT APPROX. A TENNER WELL WORTH IT !

SO YOU WENT TO WEMBLEY ON A TUESDAY NIGHT AMONGST ALL THAT TRAFFIC, WHAT ON EARTH MADE YOU CHOOSE THAT GAME ?

WHAT'S YOU HONEST OPINION OF BOTH TEAMS WEMBLEY & MOLESEY DID ONE DESERVE TO WIN OR WAS A NIL-NIL DRAW ABOUT ABOUT RIGHT ? WAS IT A BORING 0-0 AS MOST ARE ?

dont live far from A40 so not a bad a journey as you might think. took me 2hours to watch warlingham a few weeks ago.

i think wembley are lucky there are a few bad sides in the league. but they are the same wembley, as mr bates always puts out. they want to pass it around but it always has to go through him. i find the place very unwelcoming, apart from the man doing the snack bar nice chap. molesey looked unbalanced, but probably the better side. dont think the keepers made a save all night. molesy did score with the last touch of the match, ref at first give goal but lino sticks up flag, wrong in my opinion.coffee%20%282%29.gif
