I've just read the Chairman's blog on the official site and realise that I obviously ended up somewhere else last night

Totally disagree with some accusing a lack of effort on Tuesday. A lack of application maybe, but no way was there a lack of effort. I thought the team worked their nuts off but for whatever reason it just didnt work for us in the final third of the pitch.

 

We were all dissapointed on Tuesday and I for one havevnt felt like that after losing a game for a long time. We now need to stay behind the team and encourage them to better things.

I don't think it was lack of effort, but more of a fact that we're not very good. The Chairman has stated there is no money to bring in quality players, so I don't see things changing. Shame, but it is turning support away.

Ryan, you are one of our most loyal supporters, you travel home and away, you attend almost every function and fund raiser, when there is work to be done you are always there, (often the only one there) you work tirelessly behind the scenes organising travel, working on the program, you work with the btsa, you are actively involved in creating and organising events, which is all positive stuff. If we had more supporters like you we would be a match for any of the Essex non league Clubs...but when you post on here it’s so often negative. I just don't get it.

 

I can see no reason whatsoever that we won’t be top ten; in fact I think we will be playoff contenders, as do Craig his management team and the players. There’ll be no throwing in of the towel form us!<br style=""> <br style="">
