Strange aroma at the far end stand..... I thought that Russell Pond was standing alongside for a minute!!!!!!!!!

Morgan was outstanding, Collis was vocal, Wild tried his best and Chatting gave us a few glimpses of promise!!!!!

Other than that not much write about really!!!!!!

Was nice when we had a team that wanted to play for Billericay Town and not themselves, Currently have too many individuals that think we are a

stepping stone for other things...... They could be right, would not look out of place in the Essex Senior!!!!!!!!

Well Done Concord, played as a team, worked hard for each other and thoroughly deserved your victory!!!!!!!

First half was ok, plenty of posession and threatened out wide but no end product or nobody taking a chance and running onto the second ball. Second half Concord tightened up and we rarely looked like scoring. In fact Brightley didn't have a save to make in the whole game including extra time. Bolarinwa and Luke, probably our two most skilful players capable of creating something, both subbed in the second half leaving us with nothing offensively when Concord scored early in extra time, which to be honest was embarassingly easy for them to see out.

Was gonna have rant but to be honest can't be arsed tonight was rank :flame:

They just wanted it more than us and they got it so good luck to them in the next round not that i think they will need it.

Don't know what was more gutting losing in extra time,

Know who are waiting in next round(no offence)

Or watching them all in a huddle singing after the game on the pitch creaming themselves.

GUTTED :wall:

You could tell by the body language of the two teams when they walked out who "wnated" it more , and as much as it saddens me it was obvious . Congratulations to Concord , their workrate was far superior to us .

When will any team of ours realise it is a team game and you fight for one-another . That was a truly poor performance.

It is easy to say we may have scored as we did create a few chances but even if we had i think that would only have caused Concord to up their workrate even more .

And yes , a proper coffee at 70p in a large container was what i will remember from the game .

Good luck Concord , you deserved it .

Thought we dominated the game for 70 minutes, but couldnt hit a cows @rse with a banjo. We then began to tire, Concord got more into the game and in the end thoroughly deserved their win. Well done to them and good luck in the next round. My first visit to Thames Road and I thought they have quite a nice little set up down there.

Its been nearly 250 minutes since we scored from open play and until we solve this problem we're gonna continue to struggle to win games.

I think Keith has hit the nail on the head, there were times when we just wanted it that little bit more.

Must say, once again I was really impressed with Harrison Chatting, very positive every time he gets the ball, and wants to make things happen. Should be deserving of a start more often I think.

The singing on the pitch Umbrella Man is meant in no way to be disrespectful, to either the players, mangement or supporters, it's something we've been doing for a while (on the pitch, in the dressing room), good for team spirit, and just an expression of emotion, at what was a hard fought win, and takes us further in the competition than we've ever been in the club's history! After all, we're just a pub team from Canvey

We will be seeing you again soon in the league though, which I look forward to, and full credit to your suporters both home and away, who probably deserve that little bit more from the players in truth.

Too be honest didn't have no problem with you lot celebrating at the end thought you did well till wait till all the Billericay players had left the pitch and so had 95% of the Billericay supporters had left too (although i wish some of the players did see it would have saved a team talk next tuesday ).

Good luck in the next round.

I never like going out of the FA Cup - a great tournament for the likes of our team.

Not only is there potential for the club to increase its coffers, but if players are wanting to move on to greater things, what better way than to get to the first round proper and prove they can do it at a higher level.

So why did we have a team last night that couldn't be bothered? No effort, no togetherness and no talent on show.

Disgraceful performance over both games and it needs to be sorted quickly if we're not going to have to witness yet another abject season.

I don't go with the "Concord were the better team" posts.

Concord were the only team and deserved their bye to the next round.

I think no talent on show is a bit harsh. Thought Daniel Charge looked lively, and young Harrison Chatting.

Was quite interesting though to see numerous petty squabbles between Wild and Collis, I take it they're not the best of friends?

In all honesty, when the manager gives up on making any point that is relevant to the performance, tactics or motivation of the players from the 95th minute onwards, and instead focuses on the time the referee is adding, and/or that we were 'wasting' then there is a fundamental problem. Ran out of ideas? Who knows.

Anyway, you will be hoping it's a different ball game when we meet in the league. We did actually push aside our usual dressing room sing-song afterwards in light of next week's meeting.

Speaking of nails.

Hows the foot Keith?

All tetnassed up Joe!

Not going to use that as an excuse for going out the cup either

(My only tip for Concord is to have a little tidy up round the entrance to the toilet block area as other teams fans may not want to walk out with foot punctures ) . :492: Never mind .

I'm breaking my silence...

In my opinion, I think our disapointment is running away a bit here. I fully accept that we're all disapointed (as I am - believe me) but I must have been at a different game.

I thought the first half we played well and had Concord in trouble...true, some players made the wrong choices as to the final ball or shot but hey, we make mistakes (or are we all so perfect)...

Confidence appears to be low at present so, I can't see where all this is going to help the players...most of which are young lads. I would imagine that they were all as disapointed as we all are...

I'm not going to go into details about the game. We lost...put it behind us and look towards Saturday and support our club.

I felt we were clearly the better side in the first half but as the game progressed we faded and/or Concord got stronger and by the end of the game they could have won by a wider margin. I thought our response to conceding was disappointing but we just seemed a spent force by then.

I have to say that I disagree with the “they wanted it more than us” bit. One piece of individual skill was all that separated the sides after 210 minutes of football and our players were clearly shattered at the end of the game.

After 11 games last season we had scored 10 goals, at the same stage this season we have managed 11 – That’s not very good, but we all know that strikers at any level of football are an expensive commodity. I have to say I thought Chargey worked his nuts off last night.

I do think some of our supporters live in a dream world. We lost the tie because over the two games we weren’t good enough. Although it’s a bitter pill to swallow we have to face up to the reality that we are now an “average” Ryman Premier side.

We’d all like to do better, but at the moment this is where we are. I am sure any contributions to the playing budget would be gratefully received!

Losing this game and the prospect of a good home draw is absolutely gutting but we have to move on. Let’s hope the players and supporters can respond positively on Saturday.

Its not the losing, it's the manner in which we lost that grates more than anything else.

Agreed, we were perhaps better than them in the first half - all that does is emphasise that the match was there for the taking had we wanted it.

From my vantage point, it didn't appear that the players particularly did.
