It was ht Fizzer and you did not look a happy bunny so didnt push it :) Never heard you swear as much as you did in the 1st half.

 

And just for JJ before he starts I was just getting a cup of tea and nothing else :)

 

Also good to hear Duncs dulcet tones in the evening night ;)

 

 

Didn't realise the language had been that bad Kroons.....mind you having to watch talented players giving the ball away needlessly time and again for 45 mins on a nice pitch would test the patience of a saint! It's hard work being a manager at time.....at this rate I will be bald by the time I'm 40......

Ditto on the frustration. I am a pretty calm person and try to reflect that in the dugout. Last night I was aware that I was swearing a lot more than normal, frustration getting the better of me. The pitch at Wembley is great and we have some talented players so, as Fizzer says, when they give the ball away needlessly it gets to you. If they were rubbish you would not be quite so animated, but when you know how well they can play all common sense goes out of the window. Thing is, we played quite well last night and produced some decent football, but recent performances like the 1st half in particular against Sandhurst make me greedy and I want that all the time, whereas I should know better that this does not happen at any level. But it does get to you and it's not even pressure from outside, just wanting everything perfect. Supporting West Ham for 45 years you would think I would have learnt by now!

any one know the scorers for sandhurst v cove and badshot lea games ?

Went into last nights game full of confidence. Had won 5 on the bounce and knew if we won we would go second one point of top !

The main concern i had was Wayne Noad choosing to retire on Monday night and pull out of the game . (will never work that one out ?)

Apart from that i felt we could get a win from this fixture.

How different i felt ninety minutes later !

After a dreadfull start we were 2-0 down after 10 minutes and never recovered. (could have been more)

Unfotunately at least 8/9 players choose to have their worst agme of the year and sucseeded in doing so.

For the majority of the game we were awfull and could not string 2 passes together.

However i always felt if we pulled it back to 2-1 we might nick a point.

Alas this never happened and we conceded a late goal which summed the whole performance up.

Extremly dissapointed with our display.

However credit to Bad Lea who were excellent and the best side i have seen this year. (think we made them look even better with our inept performance)

They will definatley challenge this year and i am suprised they dont have more points.

 

Officials: Although we were well beaten and there were no major decisions that affected the game i thought the referee was so biased it was ridiculous.

I dont like to use the phrase "homer" but if the cap fits ?

When i see an official greeting the Bad Lea tea lady with a kiss and referring to bad lea players by first names it doesnt sit well and i believe he opens himself up for critisisim.

He was far to familiar with the club and players as was the linesman our side

I dont think we got a decision all night !

Not sour grapes just the truth.

 

This game can drive you mad sometimes and like all other losing managers the feeling after is the loneliest in football (and a [censored] nights sleep)

 

Must bounce back Saturday

Good win in the F.A Cup for last years C.C.L. Champions North Greenford Utd 3-0 at Felixstowe,think P.B.! is there this season.

 

Just looked on their website and yes looks like he is coach there, also came on in cup game last night according to match report??? He must be in his forties??? Have NGU lost players since last season?

 

Good to see them doing well in Cup, 2 games from the league teams.
