Absolutely useless last night!!! Let's face it, we've poor all season, including pre-season. Unbelievable that Lewis Smith played exactly zero minutes in the two games and didn't even come on when we went one down! Desperate for a forward with a bit of presence, who can actually hold the ball up and win it in the air!

If it had gone to extra time, we would have won. Some of their players were struggling - their no 5 was practically stationary at the end. We had to go and let a silly goal in right at the death. Having said that we should have won it before then. I think a few of the Hornchurch players might want to look at themselves and ask did I really put 100% effort in? Having said that Michael Spencer was superb again, the best player on the pitch as far as I'm concerned. Poor game.

make you right to be honest,they did look fcked,i know in a rant last night i said blame the players but on reflection its not all the players,just a few that seem for whatever reason either off the pace or just not upto it,but i will refrain from naming names as i don't feel its the time to single anyone out.

Not the best performance by far. It's gonna be tough, but with so many fans recently joining the forum I'm sure between us we can come up with some constructive help. It's so nice to have an 'open' forum.

to be honest its usually quite suspicious when you get loads of new posters joining at the same time but i don't think there is any doubt that they are all true hornchurch fans,they all seem to have a knowledge of the games that a wind up merchant wouldn't have.
