I'm not too sure how the budget is compared to last season, but you have to look at the commercial side. Every players home shirt has been sponsored this season, and some away shirts. There are only two match sponsorships left available for this season, which are both cup matches, and the majority of match ball sponsorships have also been sold. This has been a big failing over the last few seasons, probably not since the Conference days have we achieved so many. This has been a great achievement for everyone involved in the club, including many supporters.

You're right Steve it is. And you can sense a "but" I'll bet, so here it is. But, sustaining a successful side is not cheap. We do need more people to to come to games and still need support in other commercial areas. We're still working hard on that and the hope is that supporters don;t become complacent becasue of how far we've come as a club over the last year. Just as much as ever, YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU! (Not just you Steve ;-) )

The club should encourage school trips to games. That way if you can get the kids hooked then the parents have to come with them next time.

Great signing, we are about improvement surely and this is exactly that. Competition for places is a spur for all players, so good stuff IOC and the board !!!

We are doing more with local schools with the Sport in the Communty programme so yes, hopefully the more kids that come in contact with MFC the more will come throUgh the turnstiles with their partents.
