Yep I'm happy with that draw, can't ask for more than a home draw at this stage. They're 14th in the Blue Square South so this has to be considered a winnable match. The shed has got to be rocking for this one!!

Was hoping to get somebody we've not played before but at least this game will guarantee a half decent crowd as Dartford always bring a large following. With them having a mediocre start to the season, we may actually have a good chance of beating them this time.

On another note, is it me or has the FA Cup and Trophy draws got a little bit dull and predictable the last few seasons?

Much of the glamour and excitement of the Cup and to a lesser extent the Trophy is playing teams you wouldn't normally play or going to grounds you've never been to before.

In recent seasons, we seem to have been drawn against teams from the same division or teams that we've played numerous times for example, Tooting, Hitchin twice in one season, Dartford this season.

Think the season we did well in the Trophy, we played two sides from the same division as us as well as Maidstone who'd we'd already faced in the Ryman League Cup!!

Suppose it's just the luck of the draw.

I've noticed that. At this stage in the past, we've played the likes of Halesowen, Kings Lynn.

I suppose it makes sense in reducing travelling costs and with more local derbies increases crowds.
