As for Sunderland moaning about Torres i dont remember them asking the ref to disallow the beach ball goal last season.

Correct me if i'm wrong (i am sure you will) but that goal should have been disallowed ?

Steve in theroy as soon as the ball hits an outside object the game should be stopped.
